the north bay got hit with most of it. damp pavement across many portions of contra costa county and also highway 24 coming out cross lafayette and the caldecott tunnel. they are continuing a sinkhole repair. it will be at least a week 280, highway 1 gets more traffic for the reroute to or from the coast so far moving smoothly this friday. do keep in mind around the bay folks will have crews heading out repairing potholes. we've seen a number of reports so watch for the crews. exercise safety as they try to help you out. >>> we are following breaking news on the peninsula. an east palo alto officer shot about 11:00 in the area of fordham street and purdue avenue near an elementary school. officers pulled over 44-year-old willie wiley for a vehicle code violation. officers chased him on foot. wiley managed to fire a gun striking an officer once. that officer was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. police say the firearm used was a so-called ghost gun equipped with a high-capacity magazine. wiley is in custody.
