a nice evening in san jose is 58 in san francisco. 56 degrees now in oakland. a 57 now in both livermore and caulking. and 59 in santa rosa. high pressure in control. you kind get the sense here. you see which direction these winds begin to blow more of a northeasterly direction that is that offshore wind. i think that settles in again for tonight and tomorrow. and that is going to mean a lot of sunshine coming our way all the way to the coastline with that sinking air, those temperatures are going to warm up. still be a cold tonight. overnight lows could be dropping down the 30's again in some of the valleys. but those offshore winds begin to kick in and we start to talk about the even warmer temperatures by tomorrow afternoon. high pressure will continue to build in for another day or so. and that ridge going to stick around for least a couple of days. and then as we get a lot of part of the weekend, especially that all changes, even a chance of rain moving in as we head in towards sunday. but right now, let's enjoy the sunshine while we've got it. 70 degrees

it hit the oakland hills falling in steve kessler's backyard. amazing first, there was standard first, it was lightning and thunder, and then all of a sudden it starts raining and then starts healing. and the hill lasted for a good four or five minutes. i would think there was so much hail from pellet two piece size, it looked more like snow on the street of the park ridge estates neighborhood. darlene jan took these images from her home. it was just truly amazing. i've never seen that much hail or thunder and lightning here in the bay area i used to live in sedona, arizona. and we would have monsoon rains. as soon as we heard the thunder and lightning. we ran out front. the hail quickly came and went in. while most melted. some stayed behind and patches on rooftops and patios. people don't recall ever seeing weather like this, not just the hail, thunder and lightning, but this stretch of storms we've had for days now. i think it's unusual. we've had this much rain in such a short period of time. well it's a long overdue. let's put it that way.

it hit the oakland hills following in steve kessler's backyard. amazing first, there was standard first, it was lightning and thunder, and then all of a sudden it starts raining, and then austin starts healing. and the hill lasted for a good four or five minutes. i would think there was so much hail from pellet two piece size , it looked more like snow on the street of the park ridge estates neighborhood. darlene jan took these images from her home. it was just truly amazing. i've never seen that much hail or thunder and lightning here in the bay area i used to live in sedona, arizona, and we would have monsoon rains. as soon as we heard the thunder and lightning. we ran out front. the hail quickly came and went in. well, most melted. some stayed behind. patches on rooftops and patios. people don't recall ever seeing weather like this, not just the ###, thunder and lightning but the structure of storms we've had for days now. i think it's unusual. we've had this much rain in such a short period of time. well it's a long overdue. let's put it that
