this is the high rise that houses the district for office of caltrans. and it is on lockdown. this is right next to the kaiser building downtown and very close to lake merritt. let's show you what it looks like out here. this is the back entrance of it to the parking lot. there are a couple of employees who mentioned that they were told that there was some report of someone with a gun inside. but chp and no one has been able to confirm that right now. you do see a law enforcement presence out here. the chp officers on the scene have been checking some of the cars coming out of this garage. but for now, the building and people who are inside are on lockdown. we have also heard just getting calls into our newsroom from some people who work in some of the office again won 11 grand in downtown oakland on lockdown. we don't know or have any further details as to why, but you can see the chp is out here looking into this, so we'll have more on this story in our later newscasts and online at ktvu dot com. 11 ocon send it back to you guys. later this morning at 11 30, 49ers head coach

[laughter] spencer: can't get to work, i am stuck in the snow! here in the bay area we have had snow in the higher elevations. right now still some lingering rainfall and brief downpours out of the south by, but as you can see on live doppler seven, much of the storm has pushed out of the bay area. we will get a break in the late-night hours. the storm ranked level one on the storm impact scale. there could still be pockets of showers that will trail the end of the storm and snow levels are down to about 3000 feet. here is our camera look
