this is unless you are the north bay where the totals are higher. we have seen the progression of that. watch what happens is i take us forward to late morning early afternoon. it is widespread, somewhat more noticeably heavier rain. it is not inundation but it goes on for a good part of the day. that is the way the relationship works. if it goes longer, even if it is light to moderate, if it can get 12 hours, the totals will climb. we went all the way to 8:00 p.m. that will be done with today's rain by then. if you look at how much we will get from now until then it is over an inch. that does bring elevated flooding concerns once again to the north bay where the totals will be higher. we are not looking at street flooding or streams and creeks overflowing banks today. it will be windy. we will see enough gusts as we go through the late afternoon. we could potentially see more downed trees. that could happen anywhere in the bay. this is even with the system that is not terribly present. i will be back with the complete forecast in a few minutes. >>>
