the temperatures are anywhere from 60 in san francisco to 60 in san jose and santa rosa. we will get back into 30s and 40s by tomorrow morning, then the tomorrow highs because of onshore breeze and cloud cover is slightly below average. maybe a few spots reaching up to 60 degrees. those will be the warm locations in the santa clara valley, right around 60 in san jose. temperatures in the east bay also mid-to-upper 50s to around 60, maybe 61 for fairfield. that is as far as we go. meant to say 60s for the east bay. there might even be a chance of snow for mendocino and lake counties. showers should wind down by midday saturday. the rest of the weekend looks dry. by sunday, highs are in the mid to low 60s for both sunday and monday, then another big temperature drop from monday to tuesday, anywhere from five to 10 degrees drop in temperature is expected. that system will have even less moisture to work with, so just passing clouds. not much of a rain chance for valentine's day, or if you prefer, singles awareness day. >> i like that! >> we try to include everybody! >> i app

it is no secret that san francisco suffered since covid. officers were more than 25% empty in the fourth quarter of the year. >>> we are almost at the end of the workweek. >> not yet though. >> reporter: it is an important we can. >> people have things to do. >> next weekend is presidents' day. we have a lot to keep eyes on. just back to february reality. showers in the forecast. it will not be cold but the first chance of showers. the cooler air will be here throughout the day. the system is going to send additional cloud cover and stronger wind. that is where temperatures retreat to the mid to upper 50s. the shower chances arrived late tomorrow and may continue tomorrow night into the first half of saturday if the system churns overhead. the path, doesn't give access to much moisture at all. the rain chances are about 50 hapten 50 at best. we will see a lot of fog around the bay and the coast to start the day tomorrow. i don't think it will be a huge impact on the commute. the showers roll into the north bay by late tomorrow afternoon. sh
