lane on i i-95 and then seeing a man fire a gun at your car? here is meghan mccorkell to explain that nightmare is one man's reality. >> reporter: a dispute between drivers nearly turns deadly. >> i was in the second to fast lane. i got over in the fast lane, the guy behind me got pissed, i guess he thought i cut him off. >> reporter: just before 4:00 wednesday 2 suvs were spotted cutting each other off in hartford county. police say the two drivers were gesturing at one another for miles then they crashed. >> he slammed on his brakes, hits my car trying to get back over. >> the victim pulled over to call 911. he says the other driver never stopped. when he tried to chase the car down, that is when he says things got scary. >> as i rolled the window down and telling him to pull over. he pulls out a gun. i don't know if it was blanks and starts shooting a gun at my

front tire. >> the victim managed to jot down the plate number of the car. state police tracked it to 34- year-old nicolas hider, according to chargic documents he faces a list of charges. while serving a warrant police say they believe they found the gun that was used in wednesday's incident. they say they also found three dozen other weapons inside that home. meghan mccorkell, wjz eyewitness news. >> this morning he is free on bond pending his trial. a man convicted in the murder of a seven-year-old georgia girl is now dead himself. 20-year-old ryan brun was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead, apparently by suicide. he was sentenced after pleading guilty to raping and killing the little girl and dumping her

body in a trash compacter. in reno, nevada, the wildfire is still burning. the smoke could be seen from 10 miles away. there is report of a death but it is not clear if it is completely related to the fire. even though a donor has agreed to fund the remaining repairs open the washington monuments that job won't be completed until sometime. it could last until august of next year. a billionaire history buff donated more than the 7 million dollars to fix the damage caused by last summer's 5.8 magnitude earthquake. and with only one day to go before the south carolina primary republican presidential hopeful newt gingrich says he did not ask his wife for an open marriage and he grew angry when asked about it at the start of last night's debate in south carolina. >> i think -- i think the destructive vicious negative

to raise some questions, i am going to answer them for you because we do have tough weather coming our way 24 hours from now. overnight we will see mixed precip come into the region, deep interest the overnight, 3:30, 4:00, it may go to ice. that may not release its grip until the sun comes up. then ultimately it gets warm and we are going to have rain. but tomorrow morning i am just now talking about 6:15 or 7:15, maybe longer into the first daylight hours of tomorrow, it could be slick in the area. we are looking for a trace to an inch of a wintry mix here in the metro, the knife corridor if you will, all rains south and east. in western maryland could be just name ice believe it or not. the 1 inch will probable write be at the mason dixon line and north of that the weather becomes problematic, we are looking at 5 to 8 inches from

central pa up to the finger lakes region of new york, a winter storm watch for areas west of western maryland, northeastern west virginia, you get the idea, the higher elevations out to our west. those are your currents. 18 oakland, 24 cumberland, 23 haggerstown. 10 or 12 degrees warmer than yesterday. three elkton, 36 dc and easton, 36 pax river and solomon's island, 39 degrees on the ocean, westminster 29, 32 belaire, 36 clum by and rock hall, almost 40 annapolis and kent island, so low number 1 we will call it passed by last night with clouds, never saw a flurry. calling this low number 2, it is going to pretty much come over us on a west to east gradation, controversial speaking. ultimately it gets warm. but there is that mix, this is probably going to start

ordering a safety check of all of its ships because of the capsizing of the cruise liner last friday. they believe all of its ships are place including the pride currently out to sea. despite higher fares business is booming for their largest carrier. southwest says it revenues rose, thanking part to take over of them. terrel owens has accepted an offer to play again but for the in the big league, he will play for the indoor team and will be given a stake in the team. he did not get any offers after he had knee surgery. don't forget the afc championship game this sunday and ed reed is still on track to play despite that ankle

american stuffers. >> that's right. >> we are talking about taxidermy and people's pets. explain the premise for the show. >> a bit part of our show is the fact we do pet preservation. it is different. with the pet preservation it is totally different. we are going to use a freeze- dried method, so we leave the bones april and the meat and the tissue intact. it is a process of pulling all the moisture out of it. we might take in a pet that weighed 20 pounds and when we get done it might weigh 2 or 3. >> i know you run a taxidermy shop in romance, arkansas. >> yes. >> how popular is this to have one pet's stuffed? >> it is a growing industry. more and more people are realizing it is an option.

i am a traditional taxidermist and i didn't realize it could be done. i am seeing app increase in increase in business as people, they can pet it and look at it. it is better than a picture. >> but to have you do taxidermy? >> no, i do the books and try to keep things in order and help him manage the business end of it but i don't take care of the animals at all. i am also a full time teacher, so -- so i am busy. >> all right. the show is promod as both touching and funny. i am having trouble thinking about how this is going to be funny. >> you know you just got to

moat the crew meet the crew working for us, we have a local red neck guy, a volunteer interning to be a vet and interning at the shop and brings a whole new look at things because she is not comfortable in a taxidermy shop, so he is learning a lot being around the taxidermy and everything that goes on around there and then we have joseph another guy, who is kind of preppy and germfobbic and they are always stealing something out of my house and making my crazy and when you put it all together it comes out funny, we think people will laugh and cry when they see the show. >> i grew up with dogs and grew up with a uncle who had stuffed

animals and to me they always looked good but when you touch them it is not a good sensation. >> well, this is still really soft. i mean they are shampooed and prepped in a way that -- i mean they are very pleasant to touch actually. you know one of the -- one of the cool things about the show too is you are going to see a big variety of pets. you think of cats and dogs, but we do chickens, scorpions, a lizard, there is all sorts of things that you know people will see see on our show. >> that are not traditional pets but pets people have taken in and loved and grown aattached so and it is their pet. >> i am curious, even though we have very little time left. how much of the process can you or do you show? >> not -- they don't show a lot of the process, you can imagine what is going on but not enough the people are grossed out. they try to keep that to a
