monitoring the latest information. brad. >> he is the highest ranking american killed to date in the afghanistan war. he was among 15 soldiers killed in the attack. the attack happened when a man dressed in a military uniform opened fire on a military academy that houses soldiers. in addition to 15 international security soldiers are injured. the list includes a german brigadier general. considereds are non-life-threatening. this is the latest in a series of attacks by afghan forces against u.s. troops. hamid karzai is condemning the attack, calling it the work of those who don't want afghanistan to have strong institutions. a statement from the joint security force as they are still sorting out the fax. facts.
