condition of the snow? can make all the difference. just amazing and there's just so much of it. sierra tahoe says it's actually a record breaking amount for this early in the season 369 inches to date. so that's something like 30 ft. of snow or over 30. you can see evidence of it. just about everywhere you look keeping crews here. very busy. we've had nonstop snow removal from everything from our parking crew to all of our crew here at the resort. and then once our team actually gets on the hill, it's digging out lifts its digging out terminals. it's making sure that we have access points for our patrollers to get up its work. skiers like sharon wilkes from folsom are grateful for so they can enjoy the mountain. looks like we're going to get home before it starts. snowing again, especially on a day like today, today is just a perfect bluebird day. it's starting to cloud up because we're going to get a little bit
6:48 pm
more weather, but the snow is nice and dry, crunchy. just the kind you like to ski on. lots of snow in the mountains and more snow to come as we head into this evening and tomorrow morning, this is the system. we're tracking. first thing you'll notice on the radar. it's green. it's not a lot of oranges or anything. a lot of times. there's little bit of yellow back in here and over here, but a lot of times when these systems first. come on shore. you kind of get a pop, right? they hit they hit the ground. little warmer, they hit the land. it's a little warmer and they hit the hills and it gets pushed up. so you get heavy rain, but we're seeing kind of moderate rain. at least that's how it looks right now in the area, so it's expected to bring you know. quarter inch 10th of an inch of rain to most of us, and then the heavy spots maybe half inch. we'll see. it's been pretty quick. it doesn't get here for a little while. so here we are. now here we are at about nine o'clock tonight just before the 10 o'clock news and you see it draped across the bare so that's when most of us will hear

raindrops. but that point santa rosa is drying out. and then santa rosa is drying out by 11 and then san francisco's drying up by 11 and channels. a is getting wet. so you kind of see it's a narrow front moving pretty fair, pretty pretty quickly, and then it clears out by clearing out tonight we're looking at temperatures are going to drop down and we're going to see certainly in the in the mountains, low snow levels down around 3500 ft. so that's just up around colfax or just a little above cold facts are right there. and that will get you. you know, snow. it will come down. they'll get 34 or five inches that low and then up higher they could see over a foot of snow. so that's good. just more snowman just keeps coming. and this is the system of tracking. it's kind of standard extra tropical weather system. it's just going to pop through pretty quickly. it's on a scale of 1 to 10. it's about a 3.5. at least that's what it appears now. the high pressure builds in tomorrow. the next couple of days. that means frost each morning. maybe mostly just frost is gonna be a little valley fog, but perhaps not. not tomorrow morning anyway, mostly sunny right through the weekend, so it's gonna be a nice break from all the storms we've had this weekend. so just think about the things you want to do
6:50 pm
where you want to go. be careful with the coast as well as not giant right now, but it's big. and there's lots of, um i guess you know, there's lots of sets the sneaker sets that are still out there because there's been the water gets so up, you know, turned up that it maybe, you know, four or five ft. then all of a sudden, 8 10 ft wave might come in. these are the forecast overnight low, so freezing in santa rosa in granville and forest ville and rincon valley in those areas, fairfield 35 napa valley, you'll find yourself at 35 st. elite in those spots could easily go 30 33 32 yonville places like that . 50 and anti up tomorrow for a high 52 fairfield. not that warm why because that cold front went through right? even though it's going to be sunny temperatures are going to have a little have a little time to recover, and we'll see them recover nicely as we go in through the week with temperatures in the weekend by the mid fifties, but just really cold mornings the next few mornings, dry conditions and a chance to dry out. all right, bill. thank you. brock purdy in the niners are just rolling. but sunday, they do face a whole new challenge against one of the
