11:18 am
scott mcgrew says that the scoreboard looks pretty good. >> good morning. today is the last trading day of the first quarter. there's no trading tomorrow because of good friday, and what a quarter it has been. the stock market had its best quarter in year and the s&p 500 up 10% in the last three months of the year. the dow jones market data shows the 500 companies in the s&p have gained $9 trillion so far this year. employment still under 4%, gdp jumped at 3.4% in the last quarter measured and the consumer has noticed, the university of michigan just released its consumer sentiment data that measures how families feel about their finances and how likely they are to make big purchases and they feel good. consumer sentiment is a leading indicator. it means it looks forward into what's going to happen and not backwards the way unemployment does. so one more positive indicator for the economy.

have it into the north bay. our temperatures remaining on the cool side and eventually we will have a warm-up. it's just over the easter weekend we'll have off and on rain and the temperatures will be in the low 60s. it will be saturday and it will turn quite windy with a chance of thunderstorms and the sierra, we talked about this, could have two feet of snow and lingering showers on easter sunday. overall, the rain will be off and on and in total we could see rainfall totals of about an inch and a half to possibly two inches of rainfall across the region. our seven-day forecast shows unfortunately we will have a bit of a soggy and cool easter weekend, but then look at next week. a lot of kids on spring break. it will be sunny and temperatures in the low 70s. it looks really nice there, marcus. >> it does. >> the international new york auto show kicks off tomorrow and this week's deadly bridge collapse in baltimore is looming
