wilmington by 11:30. it slowed down a little bit and 11:49 in pennsville. it will be in salem boy 12:07. we do see some of this heavy rain in hokessin root now and this is this larger area that is expanded through pottstown, skippack and that will continue toward the north and east. even expanding southward toward norristown. the heavy rain right now the most intense rain with rain rates about one to 2-inches an hour right now in hokessin, delaware, newark, along 95 elkton maryland and it's moving this way. so there's pennsville, there's wilmington on the outer edge and red lion seeing very heavy rain coming soon. this is the same batch of rain that impacted chester county and that's why a flash flood warning in effect until tomorrow morning the 12:45 for the end tour county some of the heaviest rain fell in downington and exton. good news you won't be seeing as intense rain but additional showers will be over you during the overnight period. >> so something to continue to be watchful of those streams and creeks and street flooding could be a possibility. r

looks like wilmington could be caught by this in the next 20 minutes or so. we'll see if it survives into south jersey and areas in philadelphia along the i-95. i'm beginning to check out action popping up around chester town the eastern shore of maryland. the better chance of precipitation is later today and tonight from cold front related precip that will be coming in through pennsylvania, but the atmosphere is humid and unstable enough where you could see something popping up before that. 72 in philadelphia. 70 in trenton. 72 in wilmington, 73 in allentown and 69 in sea isle city. as we go through the day, it will be warm, 74 degrees by 9:00 a.m., 84 by noon, 89 by 3, we'll hit a high of 90 at 4:00 p.m. before dipping down to 86. there's a better chance of a shower north and west of philadelphia. everybody had a to keep a look out for something here or there. >> a man was shot while sitting on steps in wilmington. it happened after midnight on the 1,000 block of west 2nd street. the man suffered gunshots to the shoulder and leg. he was rushed for treatment
