areas of alabama. many of our citizens live in rural areas and we must provide them the same access to quality health care as those who live in urban areas. just as we address the needs of citizens, we must take care of those were taking care of us, our veterans. iifather served in world war and i sacrifice the military men and women make. i am proud that one out of every 10 alabama's has want our nation's uniform. sometimes when veterans finished their services, they struggle to find work. that is why i support these taxpayers to small businesses, for those veterans who own their own businesses, they need our support as well. i'm proposing legislation that will give preference to veterans on businesses that did on our state contracts. our veterans have given much to protect our state and our nation and as a state, we must step up and repair them for their sacrifice. tonight, i'm proposing a pay raise for all teachers and all state employees.
