A treasure captured on film
Thanks so much for uploading this awesome captured premiere of 'A Star is Born'. I cannot come close to realizing the energy of so many great movie stars in one location for one night!
Every star seemed very humble and praising of Judy Garland and other stars in the film.
There is no denying that when Greer Garson walked onto the stage the camera falls deeply in love with so beautiful a woman. She is a walking imagery for heavenly beauty!
John Hall was also a star the camera easily handsomely captures.
This was a total and complete film footage capture of energy, excitement and many, many stars coming together at one of Hollywood's largest Movie Premiers. Fantastic footage... do not miss!

parade of stars...golden era captured
Thanks for sharing this snapshot of Hollywood. Wow. We know where all the stars were on 9/29/54...Hedda Hopper, Louella Parsons, Shelley Winters, Peggy Lee, Edward Arnold, Clark Gable, Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, Liberace with his mother and friend, Sophie Tucker, Jack Warner, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, Virginia Mayo, Doris Day and Marty Melcher, Gordon and Sheila McRae, Danny Thomas, Jack Carson & George Jessel (who both act as stand in emcees for part of the evening), etc
A wonderful parade of stars appear [too] briefly. Interesting to see couples together.
This is Judy Garland's "comeback" night...She and Sid Luft [the film's producer] are the toast of the evening. What a great evening on film. thank you!

A Must See!
Big THANKS to whoever uploaded this gem. There is some footage missing, but not too much. Either way, just look at all the stars! Most of this broadcast consists of big stars coming up to the microphone, making a few remarks, then moving on so another star can make a few comments. It's interesting to see which stars are still remembered, and which are forgotten. If there is any problem with this broadcast, it's that it doesn't feature enough Judy Garland, who barely appears at all. Nevertheless, there is enough star power in this program to make it worth watching.
We even briefly see Jack Warner!
