rid of recess. apparently kids in florida don't have to have recess, reason why and parent's fight for may have time during schools. [ female announcer ] you get sick, you can't breathe through your nose...
7:21 am
suddenly you're a mouthbreather. well, put on a breathe right strip and instantly open your nose up to 38% more than cold medicines alone. so you can breathe and sleep. shut your mouth and sleep right. breathe right.
7:23 am
well, as you know, news of nick foles injury has left many questions, for the eagles fans, and, is he out for the rest of the year? mark sanchez take over. i overheard watching the game on sunday the term sanchize as sanchez is the franchise now. johnny marks from 97.5 is here. jon, good to see you. >> saving the day, yeah. >> it didn't work out up there for him. >> it did not good can it work out here? see this is how i look at it right now, this is his job to win right now. if he comes out and plays well
7:24 am
because of the length of the injury six to eight weeks. that would put them third the two last game of the season, eight weeks last game of the season. if they go six and two or four and three, can you put him out and foles back in. >> no. >> probably not. >> but, by the way, he under threw him on this pass. still a good pass. he played well. he had a couple bone headed passes. it is in the like we are talking about joe montana here. >> why did the yet get rid of him. >> you cannot blame sanchez for what happened there in new york but facts are facts. he had more interceptions than touchdowns. his record was good. his first two years in the league he went to afc championship game and then went downhill from there. he didn't have weapons with the jets. you are looking for a reason why they didn't do well, he had in one to throw to or run with. but he is a turn over machine. he is good right now.
7:25 am
>> highly touted out of u.s.c. >> he was. this is a good thing for the the the eagles. they can get back to running the football which is what they need to do. it will work itself out. if he goes five and one in the first six games nick foles may not see the the light of day again. >> so what exactly will he to have do if he is trying to snag this spot, what does he have to do team has to win. if they win in spite of him that is one thing but another thing you just can't have a a quarterback out for six weeks and then expect him to go back into the game after being out for six weeks and be playing mid season form. if sanchez wins, i'd to have think chip kelly will have a hard time putting him back in the game talking about nick foles. >> i feel badly for foles. >> yeah, come on, he has proven himself. >> he has but he has left the door opened. he really has. if he played better, if this is donovan mcnabb and he has a contract and establish quarter pack in this league it is a in daughter but the fact that he hasn't played well and he has
7:26 am
interceptions he has left the door more opened. >> i'm more concern about demeco being out. >> that might be bigger loss. you know, the same injury happened in houston in the same spot of the field in the north end of the end zone. >> same thing. >> you see anytime a guy that has the ball go down and reach for an injury it is a torn acl or achilles. >> but you cannot put any weight on that your. do you remember ryan hour on the last play of the year. >> he has never recovered from it. >> never. >> we're matching, all of us. >> what a happy family. >> i didn't realize that coming in here. >> johnny marks. >> i like it. >> yes. >> the news of nick foles, what am i talking about, we are moving on to something else, election day which tom will be governor tomorrow morning. will be governor tomorrow morning. start shopping a new way.

7:31 am
long time. he has done everything he said he would do. wolf has been lying about education, taxes. i don't want to be triple taxed. >> polls will be totally wrong. >> polls are not always right. who are they calling. it is all about turnout. who is coming out. our folks will come out. >> pardon the pun but renee is self wolf tickets. the wolf is at the door. he will win. >> blow your house down. >> the number one issue is education, and pennsylvania has a huge mar shale program going on. we are not taxing it. this tax could solve our education problems. >> so tom will wolf becomes problem do you think that tax will go into effect. >> absolutely. >> we will have the house and senate, do i need to go further good we are the only tax that does not have a extraction tax. >> hoist telling the truth here about education. lets get back to education. one guy says corbett cut a
7:32 am
million, billion dollars. >> yes. >> and then another one says no, i raised 1.5. so which is true. >> he did. we don't have the stimulus package anymore where money was coming from. rendell was able to do that with education. he had to do other things. has given more to education that most governor. he didn't have obama a's money. >> but the school districts are getting less money. that is the bottom line. what corbett says was without stimulus money he would find a way, without raising tax toes give cool districts more money. >> he didn't raise taxes. he said what he would do. cut me a break. >> the extraction taxis something that will not change the pocketbook for average pennsylvanians. >> and. >> the good news is there will be more money for education and jobs. >> i doubt it, it will go right to the people now. >> unaudible. >> tax everything. i need machine toy shop and
7:33 am
eat and do other things. come on now and stay blonde. >> you ladies keep mentioning the t word taxes. you think this whole race comes down to taxes. >> for me, absolutely. i'm a small business owner. i hire people, all right. for them to say we will tax more small businesses and do that that is not good for me. i cannot take that. >> i own a small business too and what infuriates he when i look and see wyoming, all these other states have an extraction tax and they are able to use that money for education and economic development. >> i have a question, tom corbett, 2010, when he first went into office, right. how did that happen. this is a blue state. >> it happened just like it happened with tom ridge. people got tired of the same thing, and things not happening and a money being spent and more taxes. >> people do switch. >> not all the time but they
7:34 am
usually do. so that is what happened. >> what has happened nationally. >> nationally we have got everything. we will take over. we will take back. >> you are taking back the house. >> and the senate, particularly in the senate. >> you will not know all of the senate races, there will be run offs and i will tell you one other thing if they take senate you think there is grid lock in washington now, just wait. >> it is not us, it is our president. lets have move on, next. >> they went come out and vote. >> thanks, both good thanks for having us. >> come back tomorrow that was fun. >> after the votes are counted. >> getting on moy nerves, okay. >> sue, it is 7:34. >> that was too enjoyable. i love you both. now lets take a look at bus stop buddy, the love of our lives and even with the kids off school today because of election day we still make bus stop buddy come to work and let us know what the weather will be. it is not as chilly as yesterday. we have sun and clouds.
