airpark in tannersville. and today sources revealed that after the capture he confessed to being the lone gunman responsible for the sniper attack outside of the police barics september 12. he was arraigned on numerous charges including murder of a law enforcement officer. when asked why frein may have submitted these acts, the deputy commissioner of say the police had a very direct answer. >> i characterized his actions in the past as pure evil and i would stand by that. >> the family in this matter of corporal bryon dickson and trooper alex douglass and the pennsylvania state police have suffered an unimaginable loss of unspeakable proportions. they will never be the same. but today we find some comfort as a community that we are taking these next steps towards justice. >> authorities estimate the search for frein cost about $10 million. and it also took an emotional
