this afternoon. they may respond to an occasional argument at this apartment complex but not gun violence. they were released that nobody was hurt when the gun fire erupted here. >> never violence, nothing like this. >> the police spent the day looking for shell casings here on chelsea avenue. they found them, 7 to 9 shell casings and they found bullet holes in the sides of trees and the outside walls of two homes. the woman here was washing dishes on the other side of wall when the bullet came tearing into her kitchen. luckily she was not hurt and the neighbors were stunned this happened in broad daylight. >> i am shocked stuff like this doesn't go on in the neighborhoods, it doesn't go on on this street. >> police got reports of gun

dangerous conditions on the roadways, this is the scene from chopper 6 hd, this group made its way through much of philadelphia through olney and hunting park and they just passed broad and temple university. they learned that many of these riders were at a funeral for a fellow dirt bikers, who was killed in the shooting last week. the police understand they were paying respects to their friend but now the activity of going in and out of traffic is unsafe for other drivers. police say they will not chase them but will try to get them off the streets. meantime, authorities at monroe county are investigating another reported sighting of eric frein, it continues to paralyze the communities there and "action news" reporters walter perez is live in swift water, pennsylvania with the details. >> reporter: hi rick, the

progression of reported sightings indicates that eric frein is moving south but if that information is true, one thing is for sure this alleged cop killer is tough to catch. >> they saw him near a clothing bin and an abandoned shack. investigators were responding to a tip that once again proved fruitless. michelle is wondering if he will ever be brought to justice. >> you always expect it to not be him or maybe he is still that smart, and he gets out quick. i don't know. >> eric frein, of course, is the man wants for murdering a state police officer and wounded another four weeks ago. the manhunt is centered here in swistd water, 20 miles away from blooming grove where the murder

took places. now they surround pocono mountain east high school, where the latest sighting took place. the schools are closed here and sporadic road closures, people are on edge. >> that includes michael's 90-year-old mother. >> i took her out for pizza and she is paranoid. and we have to look in the closets because the lights are on. >> they hope that the favorite winter conditions will work on the side of police. >> think weather is on their side and i think is he enjoying every minute of this, i think that is the unfortunate part. >> once again we are at the center of a new search center where two credible sightings took lace, one near pocono mountain high school and one at the post office a mile away and that was yesterday still the search for eric frein continues.

health check tonight, a second child at a mercer county school had a test that showed he did not have the virus that killed a classmate.

roberts asked about the cdc's new guidelines. >> it your family and the family of all care givers a little disturbed that the cdc didn't put this protocol into place sooner. >> it is concerning more than anything, i'm so relieved it's in place now. it should help ensure that know one has to endure what amber and nina have to go through with her families. it's difficult. >> the cdc says they have to wear protective care with no skin exposed and rigorous training for putting on and taking off the gear and a trained monitor and the hospital must have an on site ebola manager. meanwhile in west africa there are small signs of progress.

thunderstorms, brick reporting dime size hail and toms river and point pleasant pea size hail and seaside heights spotting a waterspout, it doesn't cause damage, it was a real isolated area of severe weather, philadelphia is at 68 degrees and we hit 70 earlier. and sea isle city is 67 degrees. satellite 6 along with action radar showing low pressure across pennsylvania and this is heading to the east, and this will form another low pressure off the delmarva, and it will sit there until thursday afternoon, this will keep us unsettled. future tracker showing us at 11:30 tonight, a few areas of thunderstorms near trenton and dover, and 6:30 in the morning we'll see more widespread showers and thunderstorms and it
