isolation. he was rushed to the hospital yesterday after coming down with flu-like symptoms. >> while we're being told the risk is minimal, over abundance of caution we are taking action to make sure the public safety is protected. >> reporter: across country u.s. officials are beefing up defenses against ebola. passengers who travel to west africa will go under new screening procedures including having their temperatures taken. >> we're clear as long as ebola continues to spread in africa. we can't make the risk zero here. >> some airport worker are worried about their risk of exposure. overnight these airplane clearance walked off the job saying they are fed up with unsafe and unsanitary
