"action news" continues with adam joseph, jaime apody, rick williams and monica malpass. ith hello again, here is what is happening on "action news" tonight. camden county authorities swarm a gloucester county neighborhood and puts schools on lockdown. several customers including a child are terrorized by a gun toting thief in a local food star. plus, a proposed medical marijuana bill. we are continuing to track a coastal storm that will bring much needed rain and windy conditions to our area tonight

monica, the latest live imagery shows the rain is creeping upright now and the heaviest from the virginias and the carolinas, it's a weak one off the coast of south carolina, so it will be sometime before it pulls up the eastern seaboard and whacks us with some much needed drenching downpours. the rain's arriveal you can expect it in southern parts of new jersey from now until 9:00. the i-95 area from wilmington to trenton it's not until between 9:00 and midnight and the western parts of the area m midnight before it pushes in and it's heavier for the commute tomorrow and over the next 24 hours, 1 to 2 inches of rain and this is a good soaking and some areas could see close to 3 inches at the shore. when we come back we'll talk

police released these photos from redner's quick mart sunday night. the same man used the same decorative knife used in costume role playing games at the gas station sunday evening. a search is on for an armed gunman that robbed a southwest deli and he did it with a child standing just a few feet away. >> right now. hurry up. this surveillance video from inside of the j and a deli, inside of elm wood avenue, the suspect pulled out a gun and pointed it at the clerk, and the suspect got away with the cash and fortunately nobody was hurt. this is 34-year-old steven williams, delaware state police charged him with his fifth dui and someone reported him slumped over his steering wheel in dover yesterday. when a trooper woke him up

now to the latest in the search for missing university student hannah graham. authorities have officially charged jessie matthew with abduction and attempt to defile in graham's disappear an. police have hire eye on him ever since detectives showed video showing him with graham shortly before he vanished. he left without speaking to investigators and took off when he realized that police were following him. police have searched his home and car several times since

it's almost a month since the last good soaking of rain? >> finally stormtracker 6 live double scan shows the edge of the rain is pushing into the south near dover and cape may, but it's slowly progressing to the north and light showers are breaking out near dover and generally dry near the central part of kent county, going south of milford, in lewes delaware, and on the tip of cape may, rain is barking in from the ocean in the next half hour. temperature-wise though we are still below normal. 70 in allentown, 66 in millville. 68 in dover and it will be one of those raw, cool, rainy nights and tluts the day on thursday, especially with the wind coming in, with the easterly direct and

the winds are 16 in philadelphia and up to 18 miles at the shore and a persistent effortly wind piling up the water with the coastal storm to the south. that is why we see minor tidal flooding at the times of high tide. we have the wind tunnel affect going on high pressure to the north and coastal storm to the south and it wraps around a high and enter a low and it continues to funnel in and wraps around the storm and it stays on the windy side through thursday morning and then the low pulls to the north and east and it eases the wind speeds by tomorrow afternoon. satellite and radar, the actual low is near charleston, south carolina and starting to spill in virginia and north carolina. and the clouds are in play now and it's not until midnight when the heavy rain punctures the i-95 corridor and heavy rain and
