temporarily blocked the president's plan to end the obama-era program that protects young immigrants from deportation. the judge said daca must remain in place while legal challenges against it play out in court. in september...the administration announced the program would end this march. but this ruling means renewal applications will resume. the decision came just hours after a bi-partisan meeting about immigration. a sad update in the days-long search for a missing man. police confirm they found the body daniel dehaven. the 65-year-old went missing january second in betsville. he was found dead last night in a wooded area near b-w-i airport... about 20 miles from where he was last seen. police believe he was picked up by a driver on route one and dropped off there. dehaven suffered from dementia and was non verbal. police do not suspect any foul play.

developing now - a shooting leading to a lockdown at george washington university hospital. the hospital tells us the shots were fired nearby around eight last night - and the victim walked himself to the emergency room. his injuries are not life threatening. police are still looking for the shooter. operations at the hospital have returned to normal. people in southern california this morning will be waking up to devastation. rain triggered massive mudslides devastated portions of santa barbara county. at least 13-people are dead and 25-are injured. it's the same area where massive wildfires charred thousands of acres a few weeks ago. both oprah winfrey and ellen degeneres shared picutres and images of the damage nea r their homes. today crews are searching through debris for anyone missing. classes are cancelled at george washington middle school in alexandria for a second straight day today because of a burst pipe. parents also tell us their kids have been complaining about cold classrooms. george washington is one of at lea

unleashed mudslides that swept away homes in southern california. the images - described as apocalyptic. adrianna hopkins is at the live desk with more on yet another natural disaster unfolding in the state. so far at least 13 people are dead in the mudslides happening in the same area of santa barbara county devastated by last month's historic wildfires. fast-moving mud - destroying everything in it's path. homes were torn off their foundation and tossed like toys. debris fileds are hundreds of yard wide in some areas. one official compared it to a world-war-one battlefield. and check this out. this is video posted by oprah winfrey of mud in the backyard of her montecito home. she says the home behind hers is now gone thanks to the mudslide. helicopters were spotted flying over her home rescuing some of her neighbors. california fire crews conducted up to 7

middle school in alexandria is closed again today as

repair a burst pipe. but parents tell us it's not the first problem at the school. last week children complained about cold classroom conditions. a school spokesperson says when temperatures dipped into the mid 50's in a few classrooms children were moved to warmer parts of the building two other schools in the alexandria system recent closed for a day for heating problems. during a tense p-t-a meeting last night.. parents questioned the school systems interim superintendent about these issues. she admits.. it's been hard to keep up with the aging infrastructure.

schools.. just three were built after 1966. this week's big swing in temperatures could mean a lot more water main breaks. in maryland -- w-s-s-c is expecting a record number. crews have dealt with 406 breaks so far. fairfax water -- which handles much of northern virginia -- has seen around 160 water main breaks. d-c water says it's seen 138 breaks and leaks. on the heels of president trump's tax reform victory -- several major utility companies including pepco say they will be reducing rates to pass federal tax savings to customers. the tax cut affects only private utility companies. washington gas officials say they plan to pass on an estimated 34 million dollars in annual tax savings in the rates charged to 1.1 million customers in the district, maryland and virginia. doin
