looks like the much-needed rain might be too much of a good thing. widespread rain, heavy downpours causing burn scar flooding, debr debris flow. in winds are going to enhance the possibility for mudslides. then we're looking for the rain, the precipitation to move along the north west coast and changing to show in the -- snow in the region. the first high-stakes meeting between north and south korea in years. the north has agreed to take part in the olympics next month, and south korea wanting the two teams to march together. officials from pyongyang listened but did not react to the call for denuclearization. it could lead to further talks after rising tensions.

personally, are you committed to that? >> just so you understand, there's been no collusion. >> reporter: trump said over the weekend he and his team have been open in the probe. mueller's also investigating whether there was possible obstruction involved in trump firing fbi director james comey. >> when you've done nothing wrong, let's be open. >> reporter: sources say the legal team has been discussing options in responding to mueller's interview request. >> my guess is his lawyers are going to offer to submit some sort of written statement, something that assures them that he didn't do anything wrong. that's not what mueller wants. >> reporter: sources also tell abc news there's no time frame on when this interview coo happen wi -- could happen with the president. but they are eager for this to end soon. mitt romney's prognosis is good, we're told, after an aide confirmed the former massachusetts governor battled prostate cancer. he was diagnosed with a slow-growing form of the
