three men wanted for attempted murder after setting a robbery victim on fire over the weekend. officials say the victim was near 24th and fiebrantz on saturday evening when a man with an assault rifle approached him. the suspect then forced the victim to drive back to a home near 53rd and clark. when they arrived-- the victim was set on fire. he's currently in the hospital with severe burns. police say it could be a possible drug- related robbery. a carthage football player player faces felony charges in sexual assault. lawrence gaines - is accused of sexually assaulting his teammate while the two of them were drunk. according to prosecutors-- the victim says gaines tried to touch him sexually after they returned from an off-campus party. mount pleasant police are investigating an early morning hit and run accident. it happened near 1-st and sheridan shortly before 5. police initially heard reports of a gunshot victim but when they arrived they learned at least three people had been struck by a car.

approve the audit tomorrow after a hearing... we've learned that federal regulators have cited the king veterans home after staff decided not to perform c-p-r on a resident. the state, which runs the home, is appealing. it is the latest issue raising concern. from urine soaked carpeting, tainted drinking water, injuries and infections...as lawmakers are about to trigger an audit of the wisconsin veterans home at king... senate democr know what took so long. governor walkers administration has failed in its mission to provide the best care to our veterans 11 months ago today, a democratic senator writes that she's concerned about excessive mandatory overtime....and legionella bacteria found in a water heater at king.she requests an audit, but one never starts. instead, a legislative committee send questions to the wisconsin department of veterans affairs. in one of his responses, the department secretary says the

harmful." in another, he notes that the home has a "five star" rating. last month, as new concerns surface in news reports, a republican senator requests an audit.this time, lawmakers say they are likely to launch one. one republican says auditors had simply been booked when the earlier request came in. well we just didnt have space last year, and we did ask questions. again, we didnt sit on the request. we took her request and asked the department to respond at that time samantha kerkman says she's glad that an audit will find out...if the allegations are true. he will give us an independent view of the home, that five star rating is, or that they need to work on these best practices kerkman says she expects the audit will start next week and will be done next summer. democrats referred to it as a "delay tactic" and want a special session to approve extra funding for the home right now. that appears unlikely.

helping our customers with their financial needs." wells fargo employees say they were pressured to meet unrealistic sales goals -- and they opened the bogus accounts to keep their jobs. regulators fined wells fargo 185- million dollars last week. the bank says it plans to eliminate the sales targets. replacem note 7 will be available starting tomorrow. regulators recalled the smartphone last week after reports of the phone catching fire while charging. the fires were traced to a battery problem believed to affect less than 1- percent of the two-and-a-half million phones sold worldwide since august. it's over for brad pitt and angelina jolie... and jim carrey is being sued... the details are in tonight's buzz.

according to a source...jolie filed legal documents yesterday citing irreconcilable differences. the two married in august 20-14...and have been together since 2004 after starring together in "mr. and mrs smith." tmz reports that jolie is asking for physical custody of their six children and is asking the judge to give pitt visitation. jim carrey-- is being sued for wrongful death of his ex-girlfriend, cathriona whi gave white the prescription drugs she overdosed on last year. the lawsuit also alleges the actor improperly obtained prescriptions for ambien and oxycodone under an alias. carrey calls the lawsuit "heartless," saying that the suit was an attempt to profit from her death. mariah carey announces her final show in sin city.... caesars palace released a statement yesterday... saying carey is wrapping up her two-year stint on the strip. her final shows are scheduled to run from april 26-th through may 12th.

brian smith, of the mount pleasant police department,says, investigators on the scene soon learn that, instead of a shooting, its a hit- and-run crash which leaves two people injured, one with a serious head wound. we believe they were walking down the median, southbound, stepped-off where theyre tryin to flag someone down, and thats when they were struck. the vehicle leaves the scene, and is discovered, later, monday morning, in a kenosha parking lot. had heavy, windshield damage, as well as the two windows on the side of the were broken out, as well, as a result of the impact. and, as the search for the vehicles driver continues, this afternoon, im told investigators are having some difficulty in determining crash details, due to the pedestrians degree of intoxication. certainly, you know, alcohol was a factor. i dont know what level of intoxication they were, but the officers at the scene said they had trouble getting forthright information.
