10:03 pm
pressed on his previous support for former president trump. >> constant badgering and the use of the former president's name as an attack against me to try to paint me into a corner. and that's what career politic do. >> he shouldn't be on the ballot at all. um because the constitution is quite clear. if you take an oath to defend the constitution, as he did, and then you violate that oath by engaging in insurrection, then you should be disqualified. >> this kind of back and forth between mean democrats and republicans is what people are fed up with, because they're not focusing on the question that you asked, which is one that deserves to be answered. the candidates also weighing in on president biden's age and mental acuity in the wake of the special counsel's report, the democrat s stood by biden, while garvey said he's saddened by what he sees. >> a new poll shows schiff continuing to lead the pack while porter and garvey are in a dead heat for second, with lee following behind about 29% of voters are still undecided.

10:06 pm
barbara lee make a convincing case and as always, um, i can be underwhelmed and we can see how that goes. but i'm hoping that barbara lee speaks for me as she says, wolfgang mori leaning towards oakland congress woman barbara lee after her calls for a ceasefire in gaza, the one that's most committed to the antiwar effort, the one that voted against iraq 20 years ago. others like lesley lev, essentially undecided and hoping to learn more about each candidate's positions. >> i'm familiar with barbara lee, and i certainly know who adam schiff is, but i i've only heard a little bit about katie porter. >> a great way to collect information. you get to see people's actual faces. you get to hear their platforms right from their mouth. so it's a great place to learn. >> halfway through the debate, tyler with this feedback, i'm impressed by katie porter. >> i'm less impressed by barbara lee, adam schiff, and beyond. i think they dance around questions. i think they're not being specific. i think katie porter is the only one with
10:07 pm
communication skills, which i think is mandatory for a politician today. >> a half hour later, the debate wrapping up and wolfgang leaving with his opinions unchanged. >> i will not vote for any candidate who does not call for an immediate cease fire as for leslie, i had some very favorable impressions of katie porter before, and that has sort of cemented my feeling about katie porter. >> and i also fond of adam schiff, but i think maybe i'm leaning toward katie porter, possibly. >> and one other big takeaway it was very nice to see a civilized debate by the way, where people did not scream at each other. yeah, hard to argue with leslie there. it was a fairly polite debate, wasn't it? next up, voters will have their say during the primaries in march. mike a few weeks away. >> zac sos live tonight in san francisco. zach. thank you. voters in mendocino county will be getting new ballots to replace the ones that were already mailed out. the county clerk says everyone in the county received the republican ballot for the county's first
