ravaged areas. a panel of judges at the un's top court is also considering a complaint from south africa that accuses israel of committing genocide in the palestinian territory. the judges were unanimous in their decision but israel urged the court not to issue new orders. back to the bay and in the south bay, san jose's alum rock school district is facing some serious money problems and this could cause some schools to close leaving a lot of students in limbo. kron four's will tran in san jose with the details. the alum rock union school district is a lot like a lot of people out there. they can't pay their bills simply because they're not making enough money. >> so they are facing a 20.8 million dollar budget deficit for the next school year. don't worry if your kids are in school this year. we're talking about 1000 kids within this school district. you're not going to be affected were talking about next school year because they don't have the money to pay all their bills.

kindergarten through 8th grade. so right now they still have to think about this. they have a couple of months before they come up with the final presentation in june. well, lots going on simply because they are not pulling in the money that they used to. and if they cannot make it work, then the santa clara county board of education will step in and they ultimately will have to make that decision. back to >> all right. let's talk about the forecast now. here's what it looks like across the golden gate bridge with kyler here to talk about what's going on. weather wise. yeah. we still have a few people with a couple showers out there right now, but not like and we were yesterday, right? but then tomorrow we've got marginal flood-risk. so that is the lowest category on this. but it does mean that we do have a bit of a flood risk now by saturday, this transfers itself right down to the central coast and notice southern california in the slight flood-risk which means they have a higher risk of it as we get to saturday, they're going to get some very big totals. i mentioned this is all going from this low pressure system that's to our north and west. watch how this

plays out, how it's going to roll down the coast so we get into tomorrow morning. you start to see that rain rolling in counter clockwise circulation and it's on the move towards the south. so you can see where the snow comes into play, where we get more rain and where this finally starts to go. a little to the south of us. but it really hammers the central and southern coast of california before it's all said and done. and that will be basically later in the day on sunday. so for us, we're looking at totals that are going to be impressive are talking about an inch to an inch and a half of rain across the bay area. but take a look at ben lowman in the santa cruz mountains looking at over 2 inches or, for instance, big sur or as you get down into santa barbara and even las angeles, some very big totals on the way there. so for us, this is going to start friday morning. it is going to be bay area wide. most intense downpours look to be friday afternoon into the evening. we will be under a wind advisory as well and we'll have a chance of thunderstorms. it's a lot for an end of the kind of a system. wind advisories. you can see throughout a good portion of the state kicks in at 11:00am tomorrow morning
2:23 pm
and does go until 05:00am on saturday. that's really the go time for this storm and we're going to see gusts potentially up to 45 miles per hour. so just get ready today. make sure everything is kind of, you know where it needs to be. there's that low pressure system right now. we are getting a little bit of energy from the front still that went through. so you can see a few of those scattered showers hanging out in the north bay. now, once this is all said and done and that will be sunday afternoon, we're going to have some gorgeous weather for next week. some warm temperatures really nice monday, tuesday and wednesday. still ahead, what we're learning about the southern california bookmaker at the center of the gambling scandal involving shohei ohtani's, former interpreter. >> plus, the federal sex-trafficking investigation into sean diddy combs is now expanding actor cuba
