until monday night. the last time the cowboys actually won a game on the road in the playoffs was in 1993. against the forty-niners. now the forty-niners have to fight on sunday to keep history from repeating itself. now this just might be the most leveled matchup so far in the playoffs. both teams have a strong defensive front. both teams have multiple offensive weapons but come sunday. the forty-niners was emphasized doing the opposite of what they did against the seahawks when considering how slow start the 1st half turned out to be down earlier this week. head coach kyle shanahan didn't mention how although minor mistakes there were a few open guys that party missed in the 1st half. but as we know, party doesn't panic and he if he can finish those big plays early and often on sunday, the forty-niners look to be in pretty good but 1st, half of one is good as they could. but >> if we don't finish some of these take place and we just keep it up field goals and we've got to be dependent on them up the rest of the game
8:52 am
to try to win. and we don't have to be dependent on that. so i think coming out in the first drive of the 3rd quarter, things down, a little bit of this going on, a good drive that ended with 7. it was a huge deal for us that kind of took off from there. >> and that's our look at sports. back to you. that. >> that was erin wilson reporting kickoff. don't forget is sunday at 3.30, pm. and don't forget, we're going to keep you updated on all things forty-niners and their entire journey through the playoffs every night on the red and gold zone. proper sports director jason dumas along with kate rooney and aaron wilson. when the covering everything leading up to the game, all the analysis, all the highlights, all of it. you can watch them tonight. starting at 10 45?
