following breaking news from the east bay that is where a shooting has injured at least 3 people happen right the middle afternoon right now there is a hunt for the suspect who is behind the shooting here is what we know. >>richmond police say just before 4 o'clock this afternoon. there was a shooting happened in the area of 30th street and has been avenue that's near the north and east neighborhood. 3 people were hurt. but at this point we do not know why the shooting happened nor do we have a description of the shooter. we have a reporter headed to the scene kron four's dan thorn working this one for us will continue to check in with him and get updates throughout the night. >>mincing his words as an impeachment inquiry is set to begin on capitol hill today yesterday president trump tweeted the democrats should be. >>focused on building the country not wasting everyone's time and energy on impeachment. in that tweet the president called the whole thing bs but he used the actual words. cnn's suzanne malveaux reports.

were inconsistent with evidence gathered at the scene that shooting happened outside uncle sam's liquors in richmond in 2016 the country custody. district attorney issued a report deeming the shooting justified even though perez's family had been vocal about their disagreement with the version of events that police released. the press family settled a lawsuit with the city of richmond in february of 2016. that was initially filed in an effort to have jensen stripped of his firearm and his ability to carry one. in the north bay, a man has been arrested after running from police and pushing a bystander in santa rosa police say they spotted scott christopher in a stolen car. >>near the intersection of north but an avenue in guerneville road wednesday afternoon trying to pull him over but he fled and headed toward say nearby mall at one point christopher got out of the car. ran. towards the front of the mall pushing a bystander police were able to catch him and he was booked

>>was shooting victims victims agreed to settor beten 735 million it $800 million with mgm resorts international. lawyers making that announcement today. the final amount will vary depending on just how many plaintiffs take part of the suit. in gm says that the settlement does not mean it's admitting liability in the october first 2017 shooting that left 58 people dead and injured as many as 700 others. the gunman fired into a crowd of 22,000 country music festival concertgoers from the 32th floor of the mandalay bay resort and casino which is owned by mgm resorts. he fired between 1015 minutes before taking his own life. investigators have not been ableo identify a motive. officials from the national transportation safety board are in connecticut tonight investigating this. >>vintage b 17 bomber that crashed killing 7 people happened after engine problems forced the pilot to try to make an emergency landing.

jason carroll reports. >>a stunning scene after world war 2 era b 17 bomber crashes at a connecticut airport killing 7 of the 13 people on board. >>heard a distant rumbling and massive cloud of smoke from come from the direction of the airport it was way too low, he was way too low. >>when i ran over to the field and actually a guy had turned around in his car. he's like oh my god, i thought it was going to land on me the accident sending a billowing plume of smoke and flames hundreds of feet high 5 minutes into the flight. the aircraft indicated to the tower and that they were experiencing some type of problem with the aircraft. and that the aircraft was not gaining altitude. the pilot then radio to make an emergency landing at the airport. the vintage bomber jet circled back to the runway attempting to land. >>the plane veered to the

right crossed over a grassy area crossed over the attack. so the taxiway and impacted a d icing facility. >>emergency services immediately rushed to the scene. >>but the fuel in the plane only intensifying the blaze making rescue efforts more difficult. >>anytime you have fire driven the fuel that time the fire extremely hot. and the that was injured was only minor, but that is a challenging fire to put out. >>those jason carroll reporting according to a local tv station one of the surviving passengers was a member of the air national guard. he was familiar with the aircraft and helped others escape by popping a hatch in the back this particular plane also crashed at an airshow 22 years ago that incident caused injuries, but no one died.

and updating this tragic story on kron 4 dot com as well other news now. it is of course expensive wildly expensive to live in the bay area right well, a new report from zillow found it young people are moving more than previous generations, the report from the housing company zillow found roughly 45% of millennials have moved within the past 2 years. now this report pertains to the whole country but the folks at zillow add that the most movement happens right here in the bay. we talked to a representative from zillow who says this problem stems from millennials inability to afford rent in a lot of parts of the country. >>their first home to buy and they're also having trouble affording a place to rent which is causing him to move around a bit more looking for affordable places to end up. survey millennials they still say they want to own home soon or eventually. o'neill's are also much less likely to be married or to even have kids at this age in you know the

colors here as we take you through midnight and that's where we'll see the some of the stronger winds looks like some winds over 20 maybe 30 plus miles per hour. some parts of the north bay gusting along the coastline and just inside the bay as well too but then by tomorrow things begin to change winds start calm down go see more offshore component started develop as we head in toward friday night and saturday temperatures out the door right now so that cool 50's along the immediate coast 67. in berkeley right now the 69 degrees and 70 degrees in the napa valley and 74 degrees and same lena we're going to see big changes for the weekend high pressure just building in. why it's good billion just in time you can ask for anything more perfect that ridge settling in lots of sunshine. no worries rain just how warm it's going to get around the bay area i think it's going to very warm even along the coastline. highs tomorrow will come a transitional see some 70 some 80's and 60's go side but over the weekend that all changes 80's 90's in the valleys 70's right along the coastline attacked of everything goes right could see some 80's right in the san francisco. thanks alerts.
