nicer looking at mostly clear conditions around the bay area. good morning. i'm rebecca strong feeling for judge tribal morning and we are seeing a nice shot of the san francisco skyline, the sales force tower there in the middle of your screen so not a lot of fog or clouds to get underway. this morning. and yes temperatures even warmer than what we're. to 24 hours ago. so we're looking at sussex degrees warmer right now if you're waking up with us in oakland versus of this time yesterday 5 degrees warmer in hayward for from mountain view and for san jose, so you get the picture and these are the temperatures waking up to a lot more 60's on the board around the bay area looking at concord already at 64 degrees near ready at 68 60 degrees right now in downtown oakland, 64 and mountain view upper 50's in san francisco as the high pressure continues to build around the bay area that's what's pushing on all of these a warmer temperatures and all the sunshine. our way and yes making some areas on the hotter side that's for sure

hot spots around the bay area again today we're going to be mostly in line look at this 95 degrees for the high in concord today antioch of livermore upper 80's in downtown san jose pushing that ninety-degree mark in morgan hill today, 79 expected in oakland and i 73 here in san francisco. the coast is going to be great if you're heading to half moon bay we're going to be the low 70's with a whole lot of sunshine once again today that was going to be quite hot at 92 degrees and of otto coming in at 85. now this a heat wave, a just lasting through today and then we're going to see a cool down in the thursday and friday be4ore the heat returns a yet this weekend and there were definitely going to see it continue as we start off on monday and tuesday and next week as well. that's a look at the hot let's see how the roadways are doing that and about to rob and thank you. rebecca doing just fine i no problems no big trouble spots know special traffic alert so we're off to a great start, especially for 80 commuters

it happened here at station 19 on buckingham way across from the stones town mall. >>on may 24th a firefighter noticed that his uniform badge and nameplate were missing and after he checked his home and car. he reported it to his supervisor on may 26. >>because the deadly on the 26 a second firefighter found that he was also the victim of the same crime how this happened is a bit of a mystery says the fire department says an alarm sounds was someone walks into the big apparatus stores. the fire trucks drive into the front door has an electronic key card needed to get in and there was no signs of forced entry a neighbor i talked to found that that's shocking but it's terrible. i mean this is a really safe neighborhood i'm in the universities here >>wallace here and there's a community here so it's what's shocking that this would happen. >>the department's public information officer says in addition to badges and uniforms all firefighters also carry sf ft issued identification cards in most cases when a firefighter shows up at your door, it's because

killing hall. police a body cam video will be released at a later date. well now to the latest on the ghost ship warehouse fire trial. we learn more about the defendant max harris, his role in the warehouse and just how much responsibility he had. attorney courtney curtis briggs says that max harris voluntarily made statements to the atf after the fire. he told atf investigators said he was the creative director of the warehouse and sign an e-mail calling himself the executive director he also explained how he helped facilitate the vision of the space testimony for a from a concert goer who was describing how he escaped the fire angered the mother of one of the victims. colleen dolan says that the defense attorney was trying to make it seem as if it was her daughter's fault. he said that he was not trying to throw anyone under the bus. it's tough enough. >>knowing that my daughter was safe and she was alive and she

looking at and 80's along the east bay shoreline near 80 degrees today in downtown san jose 89 in morgan hill expected 88 in san jose. it's going to be gorgeous of the coast and you have the luxury to head out to the beaches later on today. it's going to be beautiful 72 for the high in half moon bay once again with a whole lot of sunshine 73 here in san francisco, 85 degrees. they were expecting in nevada. now looking ahead, we are going to see a cool down finally as we get into tomorrow and friday. but then the heat returns as we get into the weekend with sunday being the warmest. both days and then we're going to really see it spike for next monday and tuesday. that's a look at the weather let's see the roads back to robin alright roads are looking good for people heading out right now about to make that trip in san francisco. we don't have any major trouble spots so far a great trip. >>across the upper deck through downtown. >>on the skyway to 80 extension, the central freeway all is well so we're off to a

great start we're checking in on 1 one across the golden gate, it looks like our bridge weren't picked up northbound we have crews out there a lot of flashing lights last time i checked it, but now it's looking good 20 minutes of otto to the toll plaza, here's the richmond san rafael bridge and i told you about the road work here they are picking it up right now you see the flashing lights on the left i no longer see the cone so that's a great sign it usually wraps up before 5 and it never really jams of traffic but it's always good to be aware of the cones and the construction workers when you're out there overall a nice trip now to the north bay. we're checking in on and some freeways and drive times are looking at 6.80 per 2 danville great shape. 24 looking good too out of water creek to the caldecott no problems for the e sure no problems leaving san jose or at least on 80 it's only 8 minutes from to 80 up to to 37 heading to pieces. well happening today, mexican and us leaders will meet in hopes of avoiding tariffs president trump says that the tariffs on mexico would rise monthly

clear skies around the bay area that we're seeing here, especially overlooking a berkeley right now gorgeous a blanket a city lights and the temperatures very comfortable on the warmer side i would say in some spots we're seeing 50's 60's and already 71 degrees in pittsburgh and we're not even in the 5 o'clock hour yet. so you get the picture you're not going to need your car heaters this morning. we're really going to be the air conditioning, especially getting into the afternoon because it is going to be so hot around the bay area, especially inland. mid 90's once again conquered to livermore all at 95 degrees we're going to see some 80's around the bay and for yourself a zone very similar to yesterday upper 80's pushing that 90 degree mark and it's going to be gorgeous at the coast. if you have the a enjoy. now this a heat wave, it's going to cool down once we get into tomorrow and friday and then we're going to see temperatures spike once again into the weekend and then it's really going to
