down medical marijuana stores in california the u.s. attorney is sending of letters. over dozens of dispensaries this week. they have 45 days to shut down or face federal charges. federal drug laws are being violated. california has legalized medical marijuana for 15 years but medical marijuana causes problems outside california. >> the complaint in a case and i did it two weeks ago in this district 03 people were growing marijuana in fresno. they claimed it was for medical dispensaries but it was being mailed in other states. they received almost $3 million in deposits into their bank accounts and branches in connecticut. people from other states also with criminal records are coming to california to set up marijuana operations in california taking an advantage of our environment. with lax enforcement. we're not

the salty police officer and suspect were taken to the hospital following a confrontation photo of the suspect, jason evans. teresa estacio saying that shots were fired from the officer's gun. >> reporter: take a look. this intersection of leigh avenue and shut down. it is been like that for hours because of an officer involved shooting. it started at 11:00 a.m. there resident. this complex called police to report suspicious activity. police tell us that when the officer responded to the call and approached the group one person, the suspect started fighting with the officer. he grabbed the officer's gun. a spokesperson explains what happens next. >> several shots were fired up
