winter and have tell tale results when they do. we will look at the forecast imagery. you can see where the storm is farther off the coast from where i'm standing but watch what happens. in the forecast imagery look how quickly it winds up and manifests right off the coast. couple things in that scenario, you feel it more in the wind and we were looking at that the top of the newscast. before we get to the wind in detail let's look at the big picture to understand why this is a two day event and why friday and saturday are going to have different characters to them. it has to do with the way the storm is going to move over us and tomorrow morning is that

10:32 pm
east bay hills are vulnerable to this as well and if that's your part of the bay and you know the vulnerability your may have for down trees the wind will calm down past friday night. plan on showers to begin late morning, widespread steady rain through the afternoon, late afternoon scattered thunderstorms. friday night, will be more active in that sense than saturday will be. watch what happens saturday. friday night looks like the more impressive times. we could get 3/4 to an inch of rain over two days so the

concern here would really be from the thunderstorms. if you get a brief downpour friday night or saturday it's those that could lead to local i.d. street flooding. we're not too concerned about the landscape from a flooding spoinlt we can handle that amount of rain. look at the snow in the sierra. this is friday and saturday. that's kind of a big deal with easter on sunday. this has the potential to catch people unaware. so make sure anybody you know travelling in the sierra friday or saturday got to have chains and plan on delays and with that kind of storm you could still get temporary closures. so there's that storm. easter is going to be nice and after that we turn a corner. you're going for near 70 degrees and sunny much of early next week. all eyes on the first two first
