>> why close this? they already closed one on drum street. >> terry krause was among those out on tuesday on the final day of business. she showed us that the store is only a five minute walk from her apartment complex which has more than 1200 housing units. >> losing the store that was so close to so many residents is big. >> a spokesperson says several factors went into the decision, but ultimately they said this location closure is due to a significant decrease in foot traffic in the financial district since the onset of the pandemic. a walgreens spokesperson says they have another location opened half a mile away at 300 montgomery street. >> my 98-year-old neighbor who was able to walk to the one closing today cannot walk to 300 montgomery. she will be on a bus 40 minutes.

evening we will see some changes after tomorrow, one more pleasant day in store. a bit chilly through the rest of tonight, but sunny and mild again wednesday and then changes with a light rain returning thursday. wet and cold are beginning friday continuing through saturday into sunday and in the sierra, blizzard conditions begin thursday afternoon, continuing to the first weekend of march. a lot going on. let's look at today's high temperatures and savor the moment. temperatures in the low to mid 60s for most of the bay area, half moon bay was near 60 at 58. tonight with a mix of 30s and 40s in land with low to mid 40s around the bay and along the coast. within 5 degrees of what's normal for late february. tomorrow the high , savor the last bit of warmth with upper 60s in san jose, you are the warm spot with most topping out

in the middle portion of 60s. 66 livermore, 67 antioch, 65 down the peninsula into red wood city. 58 degrees at half moon bay, just above 60 in san francisco with mid-60s for the north bay. 62 petaluma with 64 in novato and santa rosa. things will change with the next rainmaker. clear skies tomorrow with clouds thickening up tomorrow night, light rain showers thursday with showers becoming light to moderate to thursday into thursday evening. this version of futurecast looks a little further down the line, not picking up the bands of rain. not raining everywhere all the time from thursday through sunday, but waves of light to moderate rain are likely, but the keyword is moderate. not adding up the torrential amount of rain from a week ago today. downtown almost 1 inch in one

reaction from eagles cofounder dawn henley. >> eagles cofounder don henley taking his voice to the courtroom as a key witness monday he says he was appalled when handwritten notes from the ban making of the hotel california album appeared at auctions in 2012 and then telling the court it was not something that was for public viewing. that was the process, something very personal and private. his testimony as part of the manhattan district attorney criminal case against three men who prosecutors claim knowingly conspired to sell about 100 pages of stolen notes and lyric sheets for hits like the title track and life in the fast lane.
