suspicion of murder. the company accused of fraud in the cleanup of an old san francisco naval base is getting hit with a massive lawsuit. they were in charge of clearing contaminated land at the hunters point naval shipyard. jackie ward shows us why people that live near the base are so upset.>> when he passed away he said i don't want to die in vain. i want them to pay for what has happened to me and for taking me away from my family. >> reporter: this woman is a widow because her husband spent years working in what she calls the toxic environment of the hunters point shipyard. he died from a rare cancer related to asbestos.>> they weren't suited properly. we bought respirators. he did not want to lose his job. >> reporter: an attorney is now representing her in a $27

not struck by one of the bullets. >> reporter: she never saw the killer at the time.>> i was waiting and sad and crying. i was thinking what happened? he has no enemies. i don't have enemies either. >> reporter: she said that investigators are questioning her and she had to think about who could possibly done this when she brought up kevin prasad. investigators looked into this and finally made an arrest. he and his accomplice are both behind bars tonight and both are charged with murder. sacramento police released the official autopsy report on the shooting of stephan clark. the autopsy differs from the one issued by his family. he was shot seven times in three of the rounds entered his back. the autopsy found that he was shot eight times and six times

in the back. he was killed by a sacramento police in his grandmother's backyard. a morgan police officer is on leave. police said the driver of the stolen van let officers on a chase over the weekend. it came to a stop. the girl was a passenger in the van and she was being directed to get on the ground. an officer accidentally discharged his gun and the bullet ricocheted off the ground and it hit this girl near her eyes. it was safely removed at the hospital. a multimillion dollar grant is headed to the schools affected by the wildfires. they will receive a federal emergency grant of $14.4 million to help schools recover. the schools can use the funds to repair fire damage and pay for environmental cleanup.

time. a developing story in southern california. police have been chasing this motorhome for more than three hours. it began in los angeles county and police say the suspect was involved in a dispute with his wife. they believe that two of the children could be in the motorhome and you can actually see at times a dog. the ban could be armed. officers have now apparently caught up with the suspect in this orchard in kern county. the driver has not come out and you can see a number of police units there on the scene waiting for him to surrender. police say the suspect was involved in a dispute with his wife and they believe two of his children could be inside the motorhome. we're learning that robert mueller has raised the idea of some -- of serving a subpoena on the president. the prospect came up in a meeting with president trump's lawyers and in the meantime we have a better idea of the questions he would like to ask the president.

>> reporter: special counsel robert mueller reportedly has 44 questions he would like to ask president trump about his russian investigation and possible obstruction of justice. many of the questions revealed by the new york times center on fbi director james comey. they include what did you think about mr. comey's intelligence briefing on january 6, 2017, about russian election interference? and regarding the decision to fire him, when was it made? why? and who played a role? he would also like to ask the president about former national screen advisor michael flynn, who is cooperating. >> i asked for his resignation. >> reporter: michael flynn was fired 24 days into the trump administration for lying about his contacts with russian ambassador. robert mueller wants to know what the president knew about those calls and why he decided to fire michael flynn and what efforts were made to reach out

to flynn about a possible pardon. president trump wasted no time firing back. he said it was disgraceful that the questions were leaked. and in another tweet he said it would seem hard to obstruct justice for crime that never happened. robert mueller's team has told the trump administration that the president is not considered a target. but investigators have been hoping to speak with him. president trump is honoring the crew of the southwest flight that made an emergency landing. >> i want to commend you for your lifesaving actions. you knew how to land that airplane. we salute you and every member of this crew. thank you very much. >> the pilot and several passengers from flight 1380 met with the president this afternoon. they were honored for their efforts after the engine broke and killed a passenger. the ntsb is still investigating
