about three or four years ago, i wasn't feeling as if i was as sharp as i used to be. i saw the prevagen commercials. after a short amount of time taking prevagen, i started noticing a difference-- that i'm remembering this, i'm remembering that. i stopped taking prevagen and i found myself slacking back so i jumped right back on it. prevagen. at stores everywhere without a prescription.

>> a singapore flagship hit a support structure of the bridge causing it to collapse, you see it right there on video, and ee almost collapsed completely into the river. a massive search and rescue operation continues almost six people are unaccounted for. they were involved with a construction team repairing potholes at the ridge at the time of its collapse, sooner located vehicles -- sonar. it's unclear how many, the key bridge is part of the major artery in baltimore. the support of baltimore, one of the largest is now closed, baltimore's port is number one when it comes to automobiles, that is true for 13 years.

homicide place -- case. the 17-year-old suspect was accused of killing two brothers, jay and angel garcia in oakland. pam price declined to charge the suspect as an adult and instead kept him in the juvenile court system. meaning he would face a maximum of seven years in custody. the family of the brothers say that the decision was irresponsible and painful, the supporters at today's press conference i it was the right decision. >> with the garcia family is experiencing is terrible, it's a tragic loss, a loss for the entire community. understand that for young people specifically, there has to be more options for us to feel this accountability and give them the pathway to transform their lives so society can be better overall. >> supporters say the decision will change how minors are charged in court in the future.

of the abortion pill mifepristone. the arguments will focus specifically on whether the fda was right to expand the use of mifepristone in 2016. it is one of two drugs used in medicated abortion and is used in about two thirds of all abortions in the u.s.. the fda says that the drug is safe and it is a safe way to end early pregnancies and in 2016, the agency expanded access including by mail order and major drugstores, it can also be prescribed without an in person doctors visit. the medication is also used when a woman miss carries. challengers say the f va -- fda disregarded safety issues, experts in the pharmaceutical industry worn the ruling could open other medicines to new litigation. >> potentially what is at stake is the future of the existence of the fda and the ability of people with the capacity for

enticing for companies to ensure homeowners, one proposal is to streamline rate reviews with the complaint that it takes too long for the state to approve or deny a hike. the insurance commissioner released a statement that reads by updating commission procedures and requirements, we aim to eliminate confusion, reduce delays, and enhance public participation in the ratemaking process. this will help our experts make sure no policyholder is paying more than required, at least seven of the largest property insurers have either limited or pause new home insurance applications, state farm stopped writing new california homeowners policies late last year and raised its rates in a statement to our old chris camero, state farm is dropping policies because they continue to be impacted by inflation, catastrophe exposure, insurance costs, and limitations of working within decades-old

to start out tomorrow before clouds come in in the north bay, we start to see the effects of the next storm system a lot sooner than the rest of the bay area, we will talk about the timeline and what is ahead as we go into good friday and our easter weekend coming up in a few minutes. >> amid rising crime at santa rosa city schools, parents are pushing to recall the school board president. according to the press democrat, a group of parents called safe campus alliance filed a notice to intent, the system recall, omar medina. back in 2018, he helped end the program that had police officers patrolling and has opposed any effort to bring them back on march of last year, 16-year-old jaden was stabbed and later died after a fight broke out during our class . the group says that medina has failed to protect those students, he told the press democrat he's not surprised by the recall effort.

pivoting hoping to highlight what they call serious patient safety concerns that happening at john muir health hospital in concorde until noon, nurses are pointing out staffing challenges and work violence, they say these factors impact safety of patients and staff which is also preventing the hospital from recruiting and retaining nurses, those picketing are demanding the hospital make improvements, john muir health gave us the statement on negotiations quote we will continue to make significant investments in safety including video surveillance and implementation of a new weapons detection system, at all times, the health and safety of patients, nurses, staff, and providers is our top priority. >> east bay congressman mark casali and is holding refineries more accountable, he hosted a town hall in martinez following the string of incidents, the martinez

with some comfortable temperatures for later today, we are still seeing clouds over the south bay meanwhile, it's cleared out farther to the north and the next storm system is gaining strength out in the pacific and will be heading in for tomorrow so we can see the long line of clouds being drawn by that area of low pressure farther to the north and we are going to see those clouds coming in tomorrow along with the showers. a look at our high temperatures today will reach into the mid-60s, even some upper 60s in a few spots a high of 68 today, oakland looking at 64 for this afternoon and 63 in redwood city, half of the bay early in the upper 50s and upper 50s to low 60s in san francisco, northbay temperatures in the upper 60s for today as we go into the day tomorrow, we will be watching first in north bay for that chance of rain that comes in at around eight to 9:00 farther to the north and northern sonoma county, seeing some wet weather

moving in but it will be hit or miss for those areas through the early afternoon and then we will get some heavy year and more widespread rain later tomorrow evening, this is at 10:30 and we are seeing it lighting up with some heavy downpours that will be quickly sweeping through from north to south and a chance to dry out thursday. we could see rainfall totals anywhere from a quarter to a half an inch of rain, i do think the half-inch rainfalls will be in the santa cruz mountains in areas farther in the north, it's a quarter inch of rain we are expecting, the first wave of rain, and the next one comes in on friday and this may change some of those weekend plans as we still get lingering showers on saturday and possibly into early easter sunday. we will have a mixed bag of weather and then it is going to clear out and warm up for early next week, our additional snowfall we are expecting the sierra could reach a foot and a half or the south lake tahoe area up to

kingvale, 33 inches of snow, we are seeing a lot of that going into our easter weekend as well as some scattered showers and cool temperatures continuing over the next few days, we are also going to have and at times rainy weather in our weekend forecast in san francisco. now as we turn to our climate in crisis, marin county for setting aside a half $1 million to tackle sea level rise, the county is surrounded by water on three sides making it one of the most vulnerable places in the bay area to rising seas, officials esmate that by 2100, around 7000 acres, 10,000 buildings, 120 miles of rose throughout the county will be exposed to sea level rise. the recently approved $519,000 will go towards a contract with infrastructure consulting firm to take a countywide approach, officials say there is no single solution to this issue but including as many voices in
