i asked what they were going to do. they said, it is what it is. it looks like the same number of people that were out here earlier in the week. late last night a notice to vacate the website. the city administrator's office. after ten days the city can no longer stay there. now, the notice mentioned a couple of things, including a growing rat problem because of all the food out here and violence. threats and intimidation. it mentioned one instance where emergency personnel were even denied access to the area to treat an injured person. so bottom line is that protesters will be allowed here between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. but no tents or overnight campsing is allowed.
4:33 am
when police might enforce this is unclear. but i can tell you that protesters have people stationed ats all the corners around here at the plaza. i asked a couple if they had seen oakland police come through since the notice was posted. they said no. i asked if they had any plans to leave and everyone just shook their heads. that's what we have from here reporting live in oakland. back to you. >> and how are they treating you? i know there are reports they turned largely against the media? >> just kind of indifferent this morning. they respect really saying a whole lot to us. they kind of just answer with yes or no but don't really engage in conversation. they made it clear earlier in the week they didn't want our cameras up there where people are camping. one person mentioned that he would break the news cameras if he wept in there. but this morning a lot of people are sleeping. it's fairly quiet. not a whole lot going on. just more than interest in us
