58. so will the niners get some payback after that horrible 2020 loss to the chiefs? abc seven's chris alvarez is here with that answer in your morning sports. >> good morning and happy super sunday from here in las vegas. a little later today 40 niners and chiefs in super bowl 58. now it's a rematch of the super bowl 54 game we saw in miami. kansas city and san francisco. and we know the niners lost that game. and we know fred warner was on that team. and earlier this week i talked the team captain about a little payback against kansas city. tebow called it the hardest the biggest heartbreak of his life. i imagine, at least on the football field, it has to be. how do you overcome that emotion to have maybe the greatest moment of your life in football? >> yeah, i think you kind of i think football is unique. uh- is a unique sport in the fact that there has to be some sort of
6:42 am
emotion being played with on the field because of how physical of a game it is. you know, when you're you're putting your body on the line every single play and you know. but that being said, i think you got to remove most of the emotion out of it in terms of what happened last time, i don't think that has anything to do with what we got going on this sunday. these are two completely different teams. a lot of different players on both sides. key players, you know, in certain positions. but i think it's about really just taking your group that you have right now and executing it to the best of your ability. you know, for three hours, three hours, whatever you whatever you can do for three hours, do it to the best of your ability, and i'm sure you'll get the job done. >> do you feel more confident this time around? i mean, you have different guys and there's some key ones like trent, christian, brock. does it feel different this time around entering the super bowl for you? uh yeah. >> i mean, it's different every year is different. and the team is much different from when it was back in 19. i mean, we still had a ton of confidence going into that game. i think that, you know, we had the best team that year. but it's never about
6:43 am
the team. that's the best. it's about the team that plays the best for that. that given sunday, congrats on the baby boy. yeah appreciate it. thanks >> thanks to fred for his time. you saw this right here on abc seven warriors. suns jusuf nurkic and draymond green. those guys just don't like each other. welcome back gp two gary payton. the second back from injury. defense to offense. he had 11 points in 14 minutes. the easy flush in transition. warriors up one at the break. third quarter dubs down one steph curry working on his former teammate kevin durant. and that's a step back. triple splash two point lead for the warriors going into the fourth quarter. under three minutes to go. if you're not going to guard me i'll score. draymond green an easy bucket five point lead for the warriors. but under 40s to go devin booker two of his game. high 32 a tough basket. and the suns retake the lead by 23. three seconds to go brandon inbounds. tough pass steph gathers it. and what a shot that was. splash from way downtown town. maybe the best shot of the season for mr. curry. the warriors win a thriller 113 112 four wins in a row. back to 500.
6:44 am
it's a 25 and 25 record. >> let's go home. let's go home brad kind of try to, you know, lunge for the steal. >> bp made a put enough on it. so it kind of took two hops that i could figure out where the ball was coming, where the defense was and how to turn into it. and at that point, it's just muscle memory just shooting and, uh, you live with it and thankfully it worked out. >> that feels like a good omen going into super bowl sunday, larry and i will be here at allegiant stadium later tonight. all your coverage. we'll see. if the niners can win their sixth super bowl in franchise history. until then, have a great sunday and send it back to you. >> thank you chris. all right. let's check on the forecast outside. how's it looking lisa. >> well you know we have low clouds and fog to start your sunday and temperatures mid and upper 40s here in san francisco. but as much as 10 to 15 degrees colder in our inland valleys. so still a little frosty in spots, but another sunny, mostly sunny and mild day on the way. a few more of those before we get back

6:48 am
even the vegas wedding planners say is pretty unique. so take a look at how the couple, faithful to the niners, vowed again to stay faithful to one another. the venue is set the details in place, and the celebrity guests have already arrived. well, there aren't too many people who can say that they had 40 niners. players at their wedding vow renewal ceremony. but for one couple with some roots in the bay area, that's exactly what they got. so that ceremony is going to start here soon. brock. nick, are you ready? here comes the bride marching straight to the groom. to the new 40 niners anthem. do it for the bay. flanked by brock purdy and nick bosa, the couple are ready for the refs slash officiant to help them renew their vows, promising to love one another through the best of circumstances through championship years, championship years and the absolute worst circumstances and those that we don't make the playoffs and those that we don't make go with the vows renewed, the celebration begins. the crack rams love for the 40 niners runs
6:49 am
deep. >> so i'm born and raised here with my father. he's from oakland, but he wasn't a raider fan. he was a niner fan, which was cool. i was happy about that. so i grew up niners fan whole life. and then when i met this young lady right here, she didn't have a team at all. >> they've been married since 2022 and knew that now was the time to re solidify their love for one another. 40 niners style. >> this is the best time to do it. the first ever super bowl here in vegas. we're we're history. we're going down in history with this. you know can't nobody take this claim from us. this is us painstaking details were put into the wedding gazebo at the flamingo hotel and casino. >> the team there making all of this happen with just four days notice. thankfully they had a head start because we did have another team member here that was a huge 40 niners fan. >> so she had a bunch of stuff that she helped bring in so that we could set everything up and have it perfect for them. >> officiant wanda tracy is no stranger to thousands of unique vegas wedding requests that have sometimes had to be declined. >> someone wanted me to be a topless elvis for their wedding. >> this assignment that she did
6:50 am
accept will likely be one of her most memorable. how many 40 niners ceremonies have you officiated? is this a first? >> you know, this is my first. >> well, it will take some time for any official numbers to come in. the county clerk says there may likely be many more similar ceremonies happening super bowl weekend. we would expect the rush right before the super bowl. for now, the rams are riding high from their dream ceremony, one that may not be their last. we win tomorrow. we made it happen. >> so we got every year they go. now we got to figure out how to go get married again. i'm telling you, he started something. >> now, unfortunately, the couple was not able to score tickets for the super bowl, but you can believe that they are going to be watching it closely. let me just tell you, vegas is just buzzing with excitement now as we're only hours away from the big game behind the camera. i'm already seeing people with jerseys up and early this morning. or maybe they're just coming in for the night. it is vegas after all. stephanie >> oh my gosh, i love that story zach and i love the music as she was walking down the aisle and at the end, as you pointed out,
6:51 am
they may do it again. did they say they would do it this weekend? if we get a win tonight , they're definitely going to celebrate this weekend. >> if we get a win and they're very confident that we will. but i absolutely believe them when they say that this is something they might do every time the niners go back to the super bowl, they were just an enthusiastic couple. and again, they are die hard 40 niners fans as you could clearly see. >> they're so cute forever faithful to the bay and to each other as you captured. i also want to ask how many niners ceremonies do you think are being officiated this weekend? i, i heard you were in touch with some wedding planners. >> yes. you know, it's almost impossible to know because of course, we're in vegas and people can plan a wedding very fast. it might not have all of the details. this couple had. remember, theirs was planned in four days, but the county clerk tells me that they have a pop up marriage license bureau in the airport in baggage claim in one of the terminals that people can get a marriage license at. so the county clerk, the officiants, have ten days to file marriage licenses. so those numbers might be coming in a lot
6:52 am
later. as to how many people got married this super bowl weekend, but i wouldn't be surprised to find out that it's quite a few. stephanie. oh, absolutely. >> so we will see in the days to come. and gosh, with a win tonight, that number may be even higher. zach, thank you so much. >> a lot of people celebrating. absolutely >> thank you. well, coming up on abc seven mornings at nine nfl hall of famer and four time super bowl champion ronnie lott joins us live to share his thoughts on super bowl 58. we'll talk about everything from his time as a player with the niners to today's matchup between brock purdy and patrick mahomes. all right lisa, how's it looking wow. >> it's looking great weather wise. we're looking at sunny skies today and temperatures quite mild out there. so it was beautiful yesterday. we were due some good weather right. it's going to continue today 62 hayward and fremont mountain view 60 some upper 50s point raised to san rafael and at the coast maybe the mid 50s in vegas
