now his longtime partner, is suing former president trump and two others for his death. this morning, the longtime partner of capitol police officer brian sick nick, who died from injuries suffered during the january 6th attack has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against former president trump in two people in the crowd. that day picnic was hospitalized after being assaulted with bear spray . he died january 7th, the medical examiner, saying the cause was a stroke. the new lawsuit, which claims a conspiracy to violate civil rights, and the aiding and abetting of an assault seeks $10 million from each defendant. the lawsuit, saying the horrific events of january 6 2021, including officers, picnics, tragic wrongful death were a direct and foreseeable consequence of the defendants, unlawful actions, a spokesperson for former president trump responding saying president trump clearly and unequivocally stated that americans should peacefully unpatriotically make their voices heard. capitol police officer harry done work with officer sick, nick, he tells abc pierre thomas in an

unclear is why eight hours passed until someone called 911 . police believe co burger turned off his phone before the murders at 2 47 am, the phone dropped off the cell network near his home in pullman, washington, then reconnected at 4 48 am near the crime scene just after the murders. police mapped out his likely route to the house. they say cellphone data also pings co burger near the victim's home at least a dozen times before the murders and the morning after. it's unclear why he was near the home so often we have information of a white vehicle that was in the area. by the time police had turned to the public for help finding the white hyundai burger was already on their radar and officer at washington state, had located his car and noted he had bushy eyebrows. five days after the murders, burger changed his license plate from pennsylvania to washington as they removed evidence from the moscow, idaho home. investigators now say they

harvested dna from an empty leather knife sheath found next to the bodies of caylee, gonzalves and madison bogan and as they closed in on co burger police say that dna matched dna from co burgers father, which they collected from trash outside the family's pennsylvania home. as the investigation continues. police have still not revealed a motive in the case. coworkers due back in court next thursday. authorities in mexico have arre ton oth dru lord known as el chapo. the arrest triggered a deadly wave of violence in the mexican state of sinaloa enforcement warned people to stay indoors two planes at a local airport where even hit by gunfire passengers were seen taking cover. mexican officials say the arrest was not related to president biden's upcoming visit to mexico and president biden has announced a new immigration crackdown before heading to the southern border sunday. biden says migrants from cuba, haiti and nicaragua who entered the country illegally will now be turned away. it's a rule that already applies to people from venezuela. instead the u. s will now accept 30,000
