immigration. we have heard that from all of the people when we go out and talk. and speaker johnson, if you watched him, he was shaking his head. he was rolling his eyes at things that he disagreed with. trump was doing the fact-checking you all saw that on truth social. i wished he would have talked instead of snickers bars and shrinkflation and how many chips in a bag the economy, gas, the prices of groceries. 60% of americans are living paycheck to paycheck. >> joey: that his way of talking about the economy it. he does anything other than blame corporations he has to take the blame for himself. i guess he came out strong. i guess he came out loud. i don't know if you call that strong. the "new york post" says quite simply he's alive. that's the cover of the "new york post" this morning. it says a bitter exchange over the border. i have to point out this says he's alive. do you know who is not alive? laken riley is not alive. and when he responded to that, carley off the set just pointed out he was messing up his words

part of their wheelhouse to ignore the things that aren't good and gaslight you for them. >> lawrence: here's the thing. you can be loud or you can be wrong. you can't be loud and wrong. and the president of the united states he may have been authoritative, but he was wrong on all of the issues. and i was just sitting there thinking about this is a president that promised to unify the country. is this how it's going to be? is it going to be us vs. you? is it going to be the republicans vest success the democrats? is it going to be the working class against the elites in your party? not talking about immigration in a thoughtful way. and then going after republicans when he knew that even the bipartisan legislation failed in the senate? he didn't talk about the economy and how it's impacting people on the day-to-day basis. and from the president of the united states, to have all these lists and there is polling that's all he reads is polls and focus groups. to start with ukraine, when we have pressing issues. i'm not saying you can't talk about it, i'm not saying you can't make the case. but for the american people that are living paycheck to paycheck,

being killed by illegals. being killed by fentanyl, maybe address those things first, brian. >> brian: is he trying to take control of that message and you guys walked away from bipartisan deal that would have made the border better made it a campaign stop. that he is trying to switch it. is he trailing by about 30 points on immigration and crime. now he says crime is going down. he has not been walking through the cities and seeing how that is working. he has not yet called the governor of new york and said why do you need 750 national guards members in the subways. why do you need 250 state cops in new york city. why are you down in almost every major city in america because you put down police and vilified them really since 2020. and just a little bit of background on that one dad. they don't mention -- he never mentions afghanistan the biggest military disaster in u.s. history. he was brian mast's guest. he says this to this day the biden officials have been dismisk -- has not demoted the

deadly and catastrophic withdrawal anyone. i will not stop until the biden administration is held accountable for it and that's the way the dad feels because that is something that the president was able to get away with. because in the midterms there was no red wave. you must think there is no big deal. without that, you most likely don't get an invasion of ukraine. and we don't have the problems that we're having right now. >> lawrence: brian, if they arrest all the pro-hamas protesters in the middle of the street, which last time i checked you can't block traffic. did they get arrested last night? >> brian: i don't think so, they had to take a different route. >> lawrence: your policies. >> joey: i'm a marine. also with 20 minutes from laken riley's parents. those two moments create advice seller reaction to me. i have to believe americans don't have that connection to either one of those topics were equally disturbed. i want to say that laken riley's memory and legacy as a human being on this earth deserves more than what we saw last night. in my opinion, from anyone and i just think that's important to

trace with 239 people on board. it is still missing despite the largest and most expensive ocean search ever. aviationist joined us earlier to talk about. this cybersecurity vulnerability that this plane had, which most planes don't which would have allowed somebody on board the plane to hack that signal to make it look like it was going south into the ocean when it really went north. >> ainsley: this is considered one of the greatest aviation mystery of all time. three escaped inmates from grenada being charged with murder. authorities believe they killed a virginia couple and hijacked their catamaran. police believe that the men might have dumped t their bodies in the ocean after stealing the demanding home stand security hand over immigration patience. the judge claims the information provided to him so far is, quote, insufficiently detailed making it hard to decide whether to make the documents public. it follows the heritage foundation's claim that prince harry could have lied about his

headlines. over to you, brian. >> thanks so much. president biden making foreign policy a top priority at the state of the union address last night wasting no time warning against vladimir putin's war on ukraine. >> overseas, putin of russia is on the march, invading ukraine and se sowing chaos. if anybody thinks putin will stop with ukraine, i assure you he will not. >> brian: the president's remarks come just a day after moscow warns of a large scale war in europe and the day before that a close call for volodymyr zelenskyy after a russian missile exploded in odesa just hundreds of feet from the ukrainian president and the greek president. here to react fox news senior strategic analyst retired four star general jack keane. general, were you -- were you think it was a good move to bring up ukraine and the stakes? but did he miss anything in his explanation? >> well, first of all, i mean, just in the general sense, i thought the speech was more

political than it was state of the union and contrasting, you know, where he is against his political opponent. i certainly appreciate the fact that ukraine was in the speech but i mean, he missed the opportunity to really educate the american people in terms of why this really matters to us. he started with the right point. putin wants to go beyond ukraine. if ukraine topples, we have got to move more troops, more ships, more airplanes into the european theater to attempt to deter him from moving into nato. that tee tracts from everything we are trying to do with china. and that's the issue for the security of the american people. and i think he just sort of struck the real strategic issue here, brian, is that the united states is in a much more dangerous place. we're being threatened by our adversaries and three reasons of vital national interest. we have war in two. europe in the middle east, and president xi is threatening us

in the indo-pacific region. and that should have made the case for that and how we have to unite to come together to deal with these major threats that we're facing. >> brian: how about the easiest one, general, which is factual? the money that we're using for wednesday to ukraine we are buying 80% of it from ourselves while modernizing our own military industrial base which needs to be addressed anyway. as you know only recommending a 1% increase in military spending? how serious do you think our enemies take that? i thought this quote was important. a russian general said this: the possibility of escalation of conflict in ukraine from the expansion of participants and proxy forces, i think they are referring to sweden and finland joined for nato used military confrontation with russia to a large scale war in europe cannot be ruled out. so inside russia, they are also saying what he is saying is they are thinking about expanding the war. >> look it, we have really got

yet. he is also looking to build some type of port in gaza to get humanitarian relief. in this is just in. i will read it together. israel has made this official. they welcome the inauguration of the maritime corridor from cypress to the gaza strip. the initiative will allow the increase of humanitarian aid to the gaza strip after security checks are carried out in accordance with israeli standards. they are not against it. but, general, you cannot have a successful military operation unless you go into rafah or unless hamas agrees to surrender, correct? >> yeah. no, absolutely two things here. one, certainly humanitarian relief. anything that we can do to do that, but we should always pin the rose. the reason why we have the civilians all tied up in the middle of a war is because hamas is doing that. and, secondly, the egyptians will not let u.n. refugee camps be set up outside of rafah on egyptian territory. that is outrageous. look what the syrians did in

providing -- i mean look what the turks did in providing relief for the syrians, what the polls and uppermeans did for the ukrainians. look it, the focus has got to be on hamas if the israelis do not destroy the four to six battalions still effective in hamas' military and take down'sth the principle leaders who are still alive and operating, israel loses. >> brian: yep? >> people have got to get their head around. this this is an existential threat israel's survivability, why? if people don't feel secure in israel, they won't continue to live there. that is what hamas and iran want and where was iran last night in the president's speech? drive all the unrest and instability in the middle east. >> brian: i wish he would have took what you just said and put it in the state of the union last night why israel matters and they have to finish the job. he doesn't want to bring up iran
