i have never met an american open the door and let someone come in their house if you don't know who is on the front doorstep. >> raymond: very impassioned about tellerrier. >> human trafficking for me. the part of that destroying our america as far as the thought of children being molested just sickens me. lamed. >> raymond: yeah, me too. laura, i know you have a question for the panel. >> laura: i would like to know what everyone thinks about the additional request for $60 billion more for ukraine, trump tried to get 5 billion for a wall and that was summarily rejected during his time in office. put us up to 160 billion for ukraine and they are now, obviously, at a stalemate there. >> raymond: yeah. okay. who supports more funding for ukraine? oh.i got one in the back. why? >> i'm all about defending ukraine from russia but i would at least like to know where the money is going to. there has not to be some sense of accountability and we continue to send so much money
4:55 pm
but when is another country going to pay their way. >> raymond: go ahead, tracy. >> i would like to see us squeeze russia financially so they are not able to continue the war more than just throwing money at zelenskyy and not knowing where it's going. >> the accountability. where's the money going. who is getting it? are they, you know, ukraine just lost a city. and they said they had no weapon. where is the money for that? >> raymond: i know some of you were also very concerned about inflation and what's doing. that was kind of the second tier issue. why is that so important? how are you feeling it in this community, eric? >> going to the grocery store. you can't even buy a hamburger to make hamburger helper nowadays it's so expensive. for the average family they can't afford. what are they going to do? they can't afford it. >> raymond: other issue you heard haley raise a little bit of it. she has made the age of donald trump and joe biden central to her campaign. does donald trump's age concern
4:56 pm
y'all? >> no. >> not me. >> i would say in general we should try to go more towards younger people running for office. >> raymond: um-huh. okay. laura, you had another question? >> laura: well, i think the bottom line is what do you think our role should be in the world when we're $37 trillion in debt and we can't defend our own border? i mean, people are being called pro-putin sympathizers if they don't think we're spreading ourselves too thin. do you think the pro-putin sympathizer line by haley and others, is that fair or accurate given what so many voters and, obviously, trump believes here? >> raymond: go ahead, jason. i see you nodded. >> yeah. no. like i said, we are spending way too much money. no american veteran should be homeless. >> i agree with that. >> in this country. >> raymond: matt, you wanted to add something? >> i would agree with whether a he said.
4:57 pm
it's not that we are not are sty putin. we want to know where the money is going. why won't other countries who want to win this war why haven't they paid their fair share. >> raymond: they have tried to pitch this though if you don't support sending more money to zelenskyy and ukraine you are a putin sympathizer? >> how about becoming energy independent and squeezing russia out of all of the oil he is selling to europe and china and whatnot and then he won't be able to fund a war. >> raymond: dakota, do you have any concern about. this yes, i definitely think energy independence is important. we built two big docks in germany to make them energy independent and now under the biden administration is he cut it down. >> keystone pipeline. >> raymond: and what do you make of nikki haley's contention there that donald trump is going to spend the rest of the campaign in a trial, in a courthouse? does that concern you? >> you have to look at just the
4:58 pm
charges in general and you can actually see you have to look at the charges in general and see how bogus they are. >> i do think they are focused. it might be concerning. >> so far, all of these cases have helped trump in the polls. >> doesn't seem to be hurting him. >> go ahead, you wanted to add something. >> dakota, the issue of gun control they like to call gun safety, it is something the left thinks will really get suburban women out there, and other young people that they are concerned about that. do you think that will be an effective push for the democrats? >> i do. i think the democrats are going to play their games like they usually do, but at the end of the day, this is a constitutional issue. can the constitution, it plainly states what we have, the second amendment, the right to bear arms. i think we need to not be
4:59 pm
looking at taking that away. that is going to be very important. all my members -- i know that my members in the college republican -- >> you voted for trump last time, but not this time. >> i would say i'm not. i wouldn't classify it as that. what i want to hear about donald trump -- for quite some time, we have heard the vendetta. i want to hear his plan to move the country forward. let's put the past behind and move the country forward. let's not worry about who we have to pay back. let's worry about how we can move this country forward. >> laura, i will let you close this out with the panel. >> what do you need to hear from former president from tomorrow to make your decision on whom you are going to vote for? >> for me, how he's going to win back. we have lost two national elections back-to-back. it's time to win. he said it's about the winning. >> what you want to hear from him? >> i would like for him to stop calling people names, and he's gotten really great policies.
5:00 pm
let's hear about the policies and move on. >> i want to see how he's going to bring inflation down. the work i do is affected, because i can't feed as many people as i normally would. >> we are out of time. laura, see you tomorrow. we will bring the panel back to let you know how things shook out, their reaction to donald trump in the big town hall. >> can't wait, raymond. that's it for us tonight. tune in tomorrow, and if you have questions you want me to task donald trump, you can tweet me or x me, whatever we are calling it now, and i will consider asking those. we will be in greenville, south carolina. very excited. this is going to be foreign policy, domestic policy, legal policy, weaponization of government, the border, all the issues we care about. jesse is next. >> jesse: welcome to "jesse watters primetime." tonight -- >> he wants to be
