>> it's really hard if you know nothing. i will say before you invest in anything you have to learn what you are doing before you go out and buy real estate. investing yourself before you invest in anything. >> ainsley: the best city was detroit followed by boston and trenton, new jersey, annapolis, maryland and new york city. we always hear everyone is moving out of new york. a great place to make money if you bought property if you can afford it. the down payments are expensive. let's talk about your book. you really opened up in this book that comes out tomorrow about vulnerable moments in your life. you were in a halfway house, you have been arrested, charged with attempted murder. that was the charges were dropped because they realized you were defending yourself. you had a back injury, addicted to steroids as a result of that. two types of cancers when you were 31 years old. you hit rock bottom. how did you go from that to where you are now? >> when you say it like that, it

sounds bad. >> ainsley: crazy, your life. >> i have had a lot of struggles in my life through the cancers, back surgery, getting hooked on the testosterone and the opioids and so many things. we have one shot at this life. it's what you do during the hard times. no matter how banged up we are we can flip our life and get back to where we were and we all have hope for a brighter future. >> ainsley: you had your show with christina with your first wife. two beautiful children. you stayed on the show coag. how hard was that? >> the most thing in my life. let's be honest. divorce is not easy. showing up and filming with someone you just separated from was very, very difficult. i was still in love with her at the time. it was pretty difficult watching her, you know, get remarried and have a baby and i was filming
