trump voters as second choice and willing to translate that. that's not necessarily true for chris christie's voters going to a nikki haley or ron desantis. in terms of last night and looking forward, ron desantis visited every county in iowa. 99 of them and didn't win a single one. going into new hampshire down. south carolina nikki haley talks about going home. hopefully gaining momentum there. she is down by 30 points in south carolina so republicans are looking at this and saying they want an alternative but the republican base and republican party is with donald trump. when he was on stage last night you heard him talk about senators, congressmen being there. you had a number of people standing behind him and endorsing him coming out on the day of the caucus to do that. it is dominant. the whole strategy for alternative republicans they wanted to make it a one-on-one race. the field narrowed the math would add up to trump not being in the lead. still in the lead by ten points

even when you combine second and third place. >> dana: it is commanding and enduring. jessica, knut gingrich wrote that president trump is leading a movement. there is enthusiasm behind him. does biden have that? >> well, i think so. i think that list electoral record reflects it and democrats have been overperforming expectations. he doesn't have a special name. it is not maga for us but it is democrats and stronger together and moving forward and winning election. that's what the ultimate goal is. yes, will joe biden be remembered in history in the same way? probably not. he will be remembered in history as a winner and that's pretty important, too. what's interesting about this race and i've been saying for a while now, let's just get to the trump versus biden thing. that's what's going on here. it is rare to see two incumbents running against each other. donald trump will have to talk about his record and have to

it says accordingly the district attorney and special prosecutor have violated laws wreck lateing the use of public monies and conflicts of interest and violated their oath of office under the georgia rules of professional conduct and should be disqualified from prosecuting this matter. who decides that? >> this is where it gets tricky. complaint would be filed with the state of georgia. there is an investigative body that would look into this and potentially conclude she acted improperly. disqualify her. the georgia supreme court would have the last say but also possible the judge throws out the case because of some of the arguments this person is making including they are profiting off his prosecution. and one thing i found interesting we did great research and nathan wade has had some optic issues in the past as well. at one point he hosted a fundraiser for someone while at the same time prosecuting that person's political opponent.

prosecutors will add a fourth murder to that count. cb cotton is live from criminal court in suffolk county, new york. >> good morning. in a matter of moments, we're expecting more answers in a string of mysterious killings that some detectives on long island for more than a decade. sources telling fox newsman hat an architect will be charged again. this time with a fourth murder. they have called him the prime suspect in the death of barnes, 25 years old working as than escort when she was reported missing in 2007. her remains found three years later wrapped in a burr lap sack near gilgo beach with a belt stamped by the initial wh or hm which could have been the defendant's grandfather. he pleaded not guilty to murder charges in the deaths of three

bodies and dna from the pizza trust. where do you go from that? >> what's interesting about this case, bill, all of that evidence doesn't go to all of the victims. it is actually sort of disbursed among the four victims, each of those points that you make they aren't uniform across all four of the victims. that brings us to the latest what looks to be the latest indictment and arrest for barnes. she has been the outlier. he has not been charged. she was the first person to go missing. that was back in 2007. the question arises relative to all the evidence that you are particular late why did it take them so long the build probable cause relative to her case? there are a number of things we can speculate about. the fact that she was killed early on, apparently, seems to have something to do with it. a good chance the one hair of rex's wife was further degraded

than the other air samples and took the lab that much longer to work with the genome sequence to give them enough to test that eliminates other suspects. the other possibility is the belt. it was maureen barnes wrapped with that belt. a little different from the other bodies. so there are some things unique to her. it looks like those were the strands that they were pulling at trying to get pc on her. the others have the evidence you talk about, whether it's the car, the phones, the online searches, etc. they said they would get there on this fourth one and they did so. >> bill: charges against heuermann so far. three counts of first degree murder. three counts second degree murder and pled guilty in mid july and the 14th of july. the strip of beach on long island that he was using. you know it well.

this could be a pretty deserted stretch of land there on the island. >> yeah, it's very, very remote. that plays into this because it's windy, the conditions are really harsh, and as a result a lot of the evidence by the time the bodies were discovered was very degraded. even the last victim, amber lin. she was only discovered a few months after she went missing but nonetheless they hadn't found her and the evidence was surely degraded because of how harsh the conditions are out there. remember something else, bill. they developed probable cause on this guy, what they felt close to probable cause almost a year before they picked him up. they had to sur veil him for that year while he was still using burner phones, mareking allegedly making -- that must have been a really nerve-wracking time. they had to make sure he didn't

they just can't walk off the job. now, of course some people have pointed out on x walking off the job would require them to actually show up. we know that most of the federal workforce in washington, d.c. actually zooms in or works remotely. most of the buildings are not nearly at all at capacity. i think, dana, the federal workforce is doing us a favor by highlighting this. this has been talked about in republican and conservative circles for quite some time we need civil service reform. they are shedding a light on it. it should be at the top of the agenda for the next republican president. these people have comfortable jobs. when there is a recession or inflation washington, d.c. and surrounding suburbs are largely exempt from it because they will get their paycheck every time. they can't basically be fired from their jobs. and what we need is a downsizing of the federal workforce. we need more accountability, more transparency, and the next

road. >> bill: michelle, were there two people in the water or just one when you arrived? >> when i arrived, there was only one. the homeowner and our caller actually was able to rescue one already with a stick. she put that in there. the girl or the child was able to grab onto it and then at that point there was still just one girl left in the pond. >> bill: it's amazing to watch this on the body cam video. really job well done. how deep was that water for that young girl? >> it was certainly over my head. i was told just before going in that it was eight feet in the center. >> dana: how long was she under? >> that i still don't know. probably took me four minutes to get to the scene and i'm not sure how long she was in the water before that. >> dana: how is she doing now,

do you know? >> yep, i got a call later that day or the next day and i was told that she is being released from the hospital and making a full recovery and had no lasting effects of any medical issues or hypo thermia. >> dana: how about you? how did you warm up after that? >> i was good. i think i was able to get into dry clothes before the adrenaline ran out and before my brain could catch up to me. >> bill: i don't know how cold it was. i'm sure you remember it quite well. you can see one of the family members. i don't know if it was her grandfather in the camera shot. he was overcome with emotion. you are back on the job, i see, where are you and where are you headed? >> on routine patrol today getting a little snow right now. i imagine the roads might get a little slick later on this
