of people to agree on anything. that is what is going on, 70% believe women sports should include biological women. biden administration thinks there is place for biological boys in women sports. do you think this polling could change their stance? >> it could potentially make an impact, we heard the white house press secretary say it is a difficult situation. >> carley: the president ran moderate, on this one he is not taking the moderate stance. 93% of republicans, which shouldn't come as surprise, but 48% of democrats, half democrats and 67% of independent believe transgender athletes should play on the sports team that matches their biological gender. interesting breakdown there.

over in california, where you live, there is ballot initiative you hope passes, tell us about it and your expectations of it possibly passing. >> for any initiative to pas it takes lots of volunteer time and money. we'll need about 550,000 valid signatures. we will have six months to do it. we have parents upset? california that men are in girl's bathrooms and on girl sports teams. it is about getting the message out and the nation need to come support this. we know as california goes, so does the nation. >> carley: that is true. it is interesting, this issue dparners more passion than about any other issue out there and yet you look at how there is support for one stance, which is keeping biological women in

women sports, where is that anger coming from? >> i think from the fact that men are taking over women's protected and private spaces. stats show one in six women have been sexually abused in their lifetime and we are supposed to change silent when men are in our locker room and changing with us. >> carley: tell us your story and why you decided to speak out? >> i was college soccer player in southern california and college soccer was all i wanted to do when i was a 10-year-old girl and my heart breaks that current 10-year-old girls cannot achieve the same goal because men are taking their spots, that is why i feel passionate. >> carley: we appreciate it. white house handlers keeping president in line when it comes to advancing their agoneda on

buildings. 36% have chronic absenteeism in new york. that means you have migrants enrolling, as well as if you have kids come back into school and the absentee rate go down, you'll have a big crisis in schools. 21,000 migrant kids are enrolled. according to new york city department of education, 30,000 migrant kids are eligible to attend class and 21,000 have enrolled. it is estimated there are 60,000 school-aged kids in the area. and the cost has been brought up by residents. mayor eric adams estimates it will cost $4.7 billion on migrant support just for this

you know, voters have expressing some apprehension here. it's pretty clear. i mean, there is not much else you can say when you look at them. >> todd: joe, we have been talking for months how scared the democratic party is about joe biden on the ticket in 2024. this feels a little bit different to me. will this cnn poll be the straw that broke the camel's back in terms of getting joe biden off the top of the ticket? >> well, this poll isn't an outlier, todd, right? we have seen many other polls saying the same thing where three quarters of the country doesn't want joe biden to run again. this poll, that particular line there, that three quarters of the country think that their concerned about this president's mental capacity, how are we at a point where we think that's okay that the leader of this country our commander-in-chief and we are worried if he has the mental capacity to do the job? it's not just year and a half we are talking five and a half

years of joe biden if he wins re-election. every republican running should be asking voters these questions. and they are practically rhetorical to anyone sane or sober. based on what you see from a daily basis from this president, do you think joe biden will improve with age or do you think he will get progressively worse? are you comfortable with the 86-year-old version of this president occupying the highest office in the land? you got to put age aside and look at performance. is bidenomics working for you? is your community less safe than it was two and a half years ago? do you want this country to enjoy energy independence again? do you want more say in your child's education? do you believe abortion should happen the second or third trimester. are you happy we spent $500 million we sent to ukraine to help them have cleaner energy while we have thousands of military vets homeless in the streets. do you think the fbi and doj should be weaponized against. if you make this campaign only have fear to run on and donald trump's legal problems. that's the choices here at this point. >> carley: biden's approval rating is 39%.
