♪ >> you know what he is not done yet. he has more christmas classics for all of us. plus, we're going to talk to him about how he celebrates christmas at his house later this hour. >> first christmas is all about tradition, so we thought we would share some of ours with you. we're going to start with elizabeth. >> okay. so we would always go to mama's house and start christmas eve with seven fish, and the next day it was ten rounds of pasta it seemed, and there i am enjoying some accessories, and apparently i was still drinking out of a bottle. >> are you sure -- >> there i am just waiting for santa. i'm there unwatched. >> who is watching you? >> grandma angelina is there.

my whole family getting together. this is my brother and i when we traveled to the alps at the local wal-mart. >> there we are in our christmas best right there. >> well, my tradition -- that's awesome, and thanks for envigt me. this really hurts. my tradition -- my mom used to deny she did this, but we were forced to dress alike on christmas. there's proof. again, that's steven. i play the role of the middle child. then jim. i have a lot of issues because of that. jim is the oldest. my mom says no i didn't dress you like that every year, but, again, we're all wearing mock turtlenecks, and no one has the guts to wear them. there we are squatting. we're so exhausted after taking the photo session. again, three vests. yet, my mom continues to say we didn't. then we choz. for $96. we had to get them back the next morning. >> for all? >> no each. >> you kept the cumberbun.

raining, and nobody expected it. we were completely unprepared. you know to see three million people lining the streets all looking with such joy at everything that's happening made me -- it was very inspiring. >> to see -- >> isn't that exciting? yeah. >> this album has done 2357b tossic. they call it a crossover in the music language. it's already ranked on the billboard charts for a while. explain your approach. >> well once we established that it wasn't going to be an orchestral recording, i thought let's do something nonclassical. we were going to be in new york anyway, which is my home and i thought, well, i love the multi-genre approach because when i think of new york, i think of jazz and broadway and of course, pop music is everywhere and all of these other fabulous styles of music, and the collaborator on this from witton marcellus and gregory porter who just won best jazz vocals this year. fabulous colleagues. >> from broadway to jazz to

it's been around since 1933, so it's so cool to know that the rockettes' past and present are doing the same thing. >> we were talking about your costume changes alone, right? >> up to eight. >> the change is at least 60 seconds, maybe 09 seconds. it's corey graphed chaos back stage. >> choreographed chaos. >> also a lot of practicing, and you have many shows just in a single day. tell us a little bit. >> up to six shows a day. we rehearse six days a week six hours a day up to eight hours a day in the offseason. it's hard, but so worth it. >> have you that seven pounds of costume, all those changes, five, six shows a day. it's been going on for 85 years. what's the secret to making it feel new and amazing every single year? >> what's greater graet is we're bringing back a classical favorite rag dolls, and it's one of my favorites. it's one of the first numbers i learned my first year. it's brand new scene, brand new

live from america's news headquarters. merry christmas. i'm leland vitters. sewn where i pictures has defied hacker threats and released the movie "the interview" in theaters and on-line. the movie is being shown in about 300 independent movie theaters across the country. after all major theater chains backed out. this, of course, marks a reversal for the studio which previously decided to scrap that controversial film. former president george h.w. bush is spending this christmas at a hospital. his spokesman says the prognosis is "positive." the 90-year-old former command ner chief was rushed late tuesday night to houston methodist after experiencing shortness of breath. doctors say his ailment is

>> 20 years. 22 years this year. >> this year to know that 60000 children will really be receiving the gift of goodness, what is -- why do you want to do this time and time again? >> well, what it is, we have 60,000 going to iraq. we will collect about 10.2 million this year for children in 110 different countries. i believe that these -- you know, the children of the world, god made us and created us, and christmas is about god-giving. god gave his son to this earth to take our sins and if we were willing to put our faith and trust in him, he will forgive us of our sins and heal our hearts. christmas is about god giving. the bible says that god so loved the world that he gave his own begotten son that so whoever beleaveth in him will be given everlasting life. >> we fill the box with toys for

a child, and it's got school supplies in here. you got a doll and things for the hair pencils and pens and toothbrushes and -- >> we see the results of this. it's a glimpse right of the greatest gift that we have in christ, but when your kids open these gifts -- look at this picture here. i mean, pure joy. reverend this is what is happening across the globe. >> well, and it's been -- we ask everybody that packs a box to pray for the child who will get the box. no one knows where the box will go, but god sdz. can you imagine 10 million people praying for 10 million children what god will do this christmas in the hearts and lives of these little children around the world? you take the refugees in the middle east, about 72% of the refugees are children. they have lost their homes. they've lost everything that they have known or loved as left behind. they're afraid.

they're cold. they're scared. when you can give a gift to them, the joy and the hope that it puts in their hearts that somebody out there loves them and hasn't forgotten them. >> you know what, when the kids pack it up and we know after doing it as a family they really have children their friends, across the globe in their hearts, and really sharing that message is so important. i have to think that your dad had such influence on you and your spirit of giving and loving. how is he doing? >> he is -- is he doing fair. it's been a hard year for him. >> he is staying connected, but he is moving a little slower this year. >> well, aren't we all? you know i think a lot of people can say that, but not slower and harder at all.

>> we thank you for his service and his entire family. what's your message to everyone this rms christmas? >> that god loves sinners, and that god is willing to forgive sin. this christmas god will heal your heart. he will forgive you. he will take the pieces of one's life, and he will put it together, and he will make sense out of it. there's so many people out there that feel that the things that they have done, they'll never be forgiven. god can forgive them. >> no matter what they've done? no matter what i've done this week? how bad i've been? >> many people feel that god cannot forgive them. he will, but you have to come to him through faith in christ. jesus cites is the only one to take our sins. no other person in hifrt has taken other sins except christ, and when he went to the cross and he shed his blood and suffered on that cross for our sins, he was buried for our sinses when god raised him to life, and he will come to each and every heart that is willing to trust him by faith. >> well, what a message to
