thing does this mean in gaza? how boss controlled gossip? well, nothing if you're these really prime minister benjamin netanyahu says there will be no boss in gaza once this more is over. so tonight, 2 questions for him. what will that end look like and how many more people will have to die along the way? i break off from berlin. this is the day, the victory is within reach. it's a few weeks papa should be protected full scale and military operation into rasa would be a mistake. and it's not something that we can support. you know, we're told you can't do this. if you go to russell, he go to have a humanitarian catastrophe. that's not true. that is simply not true. nearly was point 7000000 people have been displaced with almost 1000000. yes,
1:03 am
we get the rough way. sure. not clear who river humanitarian situation or crimes and drop off the bush hour. the people of the sides are all fucked in the direction of the you do also it coming up at the crypto king who lost it all. sam bank when freed gets 25 years behind bars are swindling customers out of billions. will another take up his crown, or is crypto going to crash and burn the crypt? recurring fee industry is full of people likes and they've been freed and it's full of fraudulent enterprises like f t x and there hasn't been much change in the regulatory landscape, especially in the united states. but i think would prevent such a disaster from happening again. we'll do our viewers watching on cbs in the united states into all of the around the world. welcome. we begin today

with a new palestinian government and the old problems. it is suppose to fix a man intends international pressure to make major reforms. the palestinian authority on thursday presented its new government. prime minister mohammed most often will head the new cabinet and says that ending the war in gaza will be top priority. now there are several hurdles here, however, from us, not the policy and the authority controls guys have and of course there is a war there. within $1000000.00 guns are now sheltering in the southern city of ruffled as israel pursues its offensive against come, aust militants responsible for the october 7th terror attacks of israel says an attack on ralph it is necessary to destroy moss, its biggest ally, the united states disagrees the aftermath of an air strike and rough. uh, now all too familiar theme. rescuers digging bodies out of rubble of the things with normal. that is be no trouble here. the strikes just come at random. the are
1:05 am
the problem. about 1500000 people live here after fleeing is really operations in the north from kansas city to hon. eunice. and finally, to rafa the end of the line where food and medicine shortages threaten then immune and famine, as well as disease outbreaks. but it's unclear how long people can stay or how safe they'll be marked areas on this map show where israel has been conducting ground operations in gaza, with troops coming close to rafa. but so far, israel has only conducted airstrikes here without send again ground troops. elsewhere, fierce ground fighting continues with assaults on targets around garza city and han eunice ongoing. israel's allies, patients is growing spent in both the us and germany. have said that a ground incursion into rafa would be crossing a red line. us secretary of state antony blinking,
1:06 am
visited the region last week to deliver that message. it risk killing more civilians. it risk reading great or having with the version of the manager and assistance. it was further isolating is really around the world and jeopardize is long term security in spanish. but israel has been ignoring these calls from its closest allies. it says it will fulfill its goal of destroying her mouse. and that means an invasion of rasa is necessary even at the risk of a deeper rift between israel and the us. a little we gone to defeat to mass without going into rafa. i told the secretary blink, and i hope to do that with the support of united states. but if we need to, we will do it to login. that's the israel says it will move civilians from rough, i into humanitarian islands elsewhere and gaza. but has released no concrete plans . i'm joined now by you all could now go he's the former is really national
1:07 am
security advisor to the is really prime minister. he's now with the foundation for defense of democracies. that's a us based non partisan research institute intel is they're not going to be they have you with this. israel's biggest ally the united states does not want a full scale attack in rough. um we heard last week from mister netanyahu that raffle will happen with or without us support. do you think that the prime minister should rethink his position a long way, but i think it's very, very important to be complete and accurate on what our biggest l. i that really everything else is the most remarkable for october, the 7th. yep. and what is the thing in the same? what the jeep shuffle thing, what the other thing and use, what are these wisdom things so is that we should not go into a big law and i know that enough,
1:08 am
i'd be full. we can insure as much as we can, the situation of the refugees that move one to know in the center to offer. so we have to move is in 5th here. the only reason that the opposite is you need and how far is not starting yet. now, well, we've been living this is our, is that happening? the happenings we're no, no, it wouldn't have been. this is why, how far the gone model is not starting to get it towed up and i'll still use an order move the refugees, or the people that came from the know themselves into other places like was the middle to see like other bases, a long drive of the relatively safe windows as wide window. what have we do? i haven't mr. yeah, but it will happen because the i usually
1:09 am
a administration balmy's doing that. states like they will show them the plan because it's all for approval, but they will show them the plan before the end. so it would have been after that we will do it without the a vote in the way and it was not the life by the united states. but really what that's been this week, some people say maybe it would be a mystery. but the most important thing is a diesel was attacked by a group of people out thing and a, so you'll have, i think it before. yeah. it probably students that did. you didn't even mention the one on the and so at the, for us to just keep the lake and the continued to be very by the how much in their garza, this is the most important thing. we'll see now that we've been kind of walk through this and we're not going to delete without going into alpha in the story
1:10 am
and eliminate the come us. it has the deals and the thoughts and then id be behind the people missing or i mean i just want to be clear, we have not heard from the is really prime minister that, that there is a concrete plan for relocating hundreds of thousands. the why is there, is there a plan on the table? totally. yes it is. there is a plan and you should do it because if you listen to what you said, you say that i already approved the plans of the idea and i approved the plans to move the people of lava flip and much more safe place. again, the one that is supposed to be the organization, him entity, the do you suppose the result, the suffering goes up to that offer is the come off. the i doing behind is a people they are is seen well and day if and out of this. and i was still loaded
1:11 am
by hostages and by their own people, they don't care the people of guys that would stuff available. and would it be kids that even maybe have a if the, which is a do less than 30, would be easiest for them, but they will cannot. and before we bring back us to just home or the by this and of course we have to keep on getting to delete the how much they at least supposedly for the month i get that they need, we do what are we without entering and doing offer in order to go, you know, that done the little just we didn't get any of the, let me just ask you, understand the international communities of skepticism here about just the realistic chance about moving it about moving an entire population out of rafa before the city is going to be attacked. i mean is that
1:12 am
a realistic plan and how long would that take? ok, so i would ask you, you know, the jewish people usually answer the question by question. it was the same skepticism and the same. but understanding when we say that we will go into gov, of safety, the nose of about in the human and as of incentives for newness and then other places before we move the refugees, that the mountains offer. and this is exactly what we do need after october 7 to 2 or 3 weeks before we enter the guys that we'd be gone a little bit. we did, it's already, after we move the paper to that it shows no just comparing these release into the really expand at the top. okay. not politically. the best 10 digits of see really and big kids in this world compared to the till the end of the week. it is the
1:13 am
lowest ever endured. it's one then. yeah, no, it doesn't mean anything any, as i usually just compare it to most or all the other places is if we have about it about in the game every see really on every i know to the board one you there is very, very said, but it's because i'm to come us, but it's $1.00 to $11.00 to really and one point or fleecy really on to at the table least it's usually $1.00 to $10.00. didn't see really as only still we offer in the gaza and didn't know it's one to one point. sleep is the best wish to again, god bless the said list. but the, to the lowest, the, the ratio between see really and the bill was being killed. and in this, the reason that i'm being guilty only because of the how much is missing. i really want to get the time we'd have to do. we would have to do it, you have to do it. after we'd be able to move the majority of the paper forms off
1:14 am
or do a the best deal and most a few places. let me get your reaction to the the news coming today. from the west bank. the boss has announced the formation of a, of a new government, your reaction to that. and what does that mean for the future of gods? if anything, was the really good luck in judy and some of the i don't go to the west bank. well, you go to judy on some of the wisdom. very good luck. they have a lot of them. it just to make sure that the population of education to al sewage in our lives and are the things that are not supposed to be disposable on security. there is no. the official ends that he's not going to be at least until the day will be changed. if that makes sense, i'll say 3 recapitalized divide that the company that i or those mice will let
1:15 am
them do it. and then we'll talk. i didn't know the police didn't authority, they'll bring money to the till we families to the teach, the, to the new schools out to 8 and kids. they usually when do change, we can talk about it and then get by the student authority, the new one. they don't have any food and they want to have really the official, jo being garza. and again, i use the very good luck in judy and some of the, the walk you lose. it is not unfortunately, we are out of time, but we certainly do appreciate you taking the time to talk with us. you all could narrow the former is really national security adviser to the prime minister. thank a thank you very much. thank you. now to the crypto king, who is now the crypto convict, headed for present, from a millionaire, san basement free,
1:16 am
there's been sentenced to 25 years in prison for stealing billions of dollars from his crypto exchange platform. f t x. prosecutors had wanted 50 years in prison, they say they've been free, defrauded tens of thousands of customers from around the world spinning over $8000000000.00 of their savings on his luxury homes and risky investments. last november, the jury found him guilty on 7 counts of fraud conspiracy and money laundering. they've been freed, founded f t expect in 2019, and a quickly grew into one of the largest crypto currency exchanges in the world. millions of users logged on to buy and sell crypto token, such as bitcoin billions of dollars passed through the site every single day. a customers thought that their cash was safe, but they've been free to use that cash to fund his own personal investments. and also to prop up as lawsuits with news broke, that f t x was on shaky financial ground. people tried to withdraw their funds to run on the bank. it could say, but their money was long gone. when f t x filed for bankruptcy,

banks and fried says that his own personal fortune of some $16000000000.00 had been wiped out too. during his sentencing, the former billionaire fell short of apologizing, flaming. he just made some honest, simple mistakes. he said it haunts me every day. i made a series of bad decisions. they were selfish decisions. they weren't self less decisions, they were bad decisions. my next guess tonight is regarding this one of the most prominent crypto currency researchers and critics. please to welcome back to the program. molly, why small? it's good to see your 25 years in prison. did sam bakeman free? did he get what he deserved? as i think he did a, a prison sentence of that length is pretty monumental, even though it's less than what the prosecutor is requested. and i think it will,
1:18 am
you know, provide that kind of deterrent effect to others who are potentially thinking of trying the same types of schemes. and it will certainly prevent him from trying again in the near future, which i think is one of the most important things. do you think there are other sam bank winfrey out there already in the crypto currency world who are already, you know, pushing and leading ponzi schemes galore. unfortunately, i do. um the curb. the currency industry is full of people likes and they've been freed. and it's full of fraudulent enterprises like f t x and there hasn't been much change in the regulatory landscape, especially in the united states. that i think would prevent such a disaster from happening again. so while you know, i'm happy to see why it hasn't there been a change to the regulations? yeah. why do you think there's really nary attempts to pass new regulation have
1:19 am
been pretty unsuccessful thus far. and the, you know, the legislature has been very torn on how they want to go about this. and attempts by regulatory agencies like the securities and exchange commission have begun to meet with resistance from lawmakers because crypto has become such a political issue in the united states. and so i think any changes to regulation are going to be very hard fought and, and as far none have really emerged. i mean, you would think we're talking about money here, but it's not just money explained for our viewers. why is it political in the united states now? there is a very strong ideology behind crypto that plays into some of the political issues that are very hot topics in the united states around whether or not governments should be able to interfere with people's financial lives. you know, whether or not there should be more of a hands off approach to how people handle their own finances. and that has become
1:20 am
sort of put the crypto has become a political issue in that sense where particularly people on the republican side of the spectrum. uh, fever, its sort of a hands off approach or even one that would encourage the industry. whereas i think that strong regulation is needed and more government intervention is needed. so it's, it's become very partisan. yeah, it is kind of like a weapon against the deep state, if you will. you have been called. what are the world's most um, yep, outspoken, prominent crypt, encourage the critics. what are in your opinion, that the biggest challenges are the biggest issues that you have with this industry or well, the prevalence of fraud and the scams in the industry are. it's honestly remarkable how prevalent it's and because there is so little regulatory oversight of the
1:21 am
industry, there's very little disclosure around the types of things people are being told to put their money into. and so people don't always even know who's behind the project that they're getting involved with, how the business works, how the money is being stored, what protections they have, if something goes wrong. and so as a result, people are, you know, taking enormous risks even when they are just being told that someone's gonna hold onto the crypto for them, which was kind of the f t x and you know, marketing. and so people are being told, you know, that they can invest in this new asset class, while the industry itself is full of people who are trying to steal those assets away from people. yep. which is largely where my concerns like it. but also we know from the very beginning that if we invest in crypt occurred on these platforms, we know that these platforms, they are not acting in
1:22 am
a fiduciary role. right. that's not their responsibility. are you saying that they should be required to be a fiduciary or to look out for the interest of the investor as well? i actually think that it's not that well known that these platforms aren't acting as fiduciary. is there were people in this very lawsuit who said that they believed that f t x. what, how to fiduciary duty to them? and so, you know, there's, there's very little transparency in the industry around what these platforms even are and what can be expected from them. i mean, there have been other collapses where people genuinely believed that these crypto currency companies were on the same level as banks and might even have the types of depository insurance that you could expect from a bank in the united is absolutely not true. but that is how these companies will market themselves to people who don't know enough to go find out for sure. and there, there isn't really a regulator making sure that this isn't happening. you,
1:23 am
you speak a lot about about the height that surrounded crypto currencies and that still remains. by the way, you've said that it's similar to the hype that we are currently seeing around artificial intelligence. tell me about that as well. the tech industry generally generally goes through these type cycles where people get very excited about a new piece of technology or a new industry. and what is being said about those technology use becomes very different from the actual reality of those technologies. so we saw it in 2021 or so with the emergence of the idea of web 3, which promised that block chains were going to be the solution to all kinds of problems on the web. despite the fact that the technology was not well suited to it, and i think we're seeing something very similar with artificial intelligence now,
1:24 am
where people are talking about artificial intelligence as you know, soon becoming something that can solve practically any problem you can think of, you know, curing cancer and resolving, grow global warming, and that again is very divorced from the current state of the technology. so i think there's definitely parallels between the hype cycle we saw with crypto and web 3 and the type cycle. now we're seeing with a i yeah, i think you bring up a good point and i think people would love to see a i give us a cure for cancer. i don't think people would welcome losing their jobs in the process through a. all right. we will see crypto currency researcher and critic molly wife molly, we appreciate your time and your analysis tonight. thank you. thank you for having me. 3 presidents, one concert and $25000000.00 job i is keeping up with bill clinton and brock, obama and radio city music hall in new york city for quite

a show ticket starting at 250 dollars and an extra 1. 100 grand includes a picture with the current president and his 2 predecessors, democratic predecessors. the buying campaign expects to raise $25000000.00. that would be a new fund raising record. and this hall, it widens, biden's lead over his republican rival, donald trump, and fundraising for november's election. but just in time for easter, trump is appealing to the faith in the funds of his mag supporters. the answer is most pressing prayers. he's selling copies of what he calls his favorite book. may remember, trump was seen brandishing a bible back in 2020. after protesters were cleared in washington from the nearby church, he says he owns many bibles. the special edition of he's peddling for $60.00 also includes the tax of the us declaration of independence in the us constitution.
1:26 am
trump's website, however, claims that the proceeds will not go to trump's campaign. well that got the attention of the republican group that is campaigning against trump. the lincoln project posted this on social media. let this sink in. trump is selling a bible for $60.00 during holy week. and the money may go towards covering his legal fees for paying off a porn star that he slept with. well married to his pregnant wife christians. do you want this faults, profit governing in your name? there's been a lot of reaction on social media to that. another social media user post. simple question. what would jesus do if a while you find it out, i'm going to say that the day is almost done. the conversation is continues online, you'll find is one whether on twitter, also known as x. either need to be news,
